Point taken, bro, in my defense let me show you a photo taken from the Toy Fair 2011 G.I. Joe Show. It posed by people from Hasbro, its designed that way by Hasbro, thus I posed it same as Hasbro reps did and thats several Toy events before its actual market release, so the gun and magazine/backpack combo was meant that way (they even glued the ammo chain to the backpack to make sure)...
http://cdn.hisstank.com/gi-joe-news/...1301690033.jpg The same employees that set up the Iron Grenadier figure incorrectly couldn’t correctly assemble a Crimson H.I.S.S. Tank either this year. Note in the photo where the missile launcher is positioned, and where the Gatling gun is. The ammo feed belt on this tank does not connect with the tank as displayed on the box or the toy assembly instructions. Copying somebody else’s mistake is no defense. I’m human myself, and frequently error. Sometimes I get my kids' G.I. Joe vehicles half-way assembled, before realizing somewhere along the process that I misplaced some part or decal. Sincerely though, your review is good, even if the figure assembly and poses look a little silly to me. |

Great review mate, hasnt anyone else noticed that the steadi-cam arm will fit into the smartgun?? You have to reverse it so the ball joint goes into the body armor, then push the plug intended for the armor socket into the hexagonal hole on the smartgun. Its a little tricky for the gunner to get his arms completely onto the handles though. I suppose the best thing to do would be cut the ball socket attachment off the destro cannon and attach it to the smartgun where the hexagonal hole is,then assemble it and attach to the figure in the usual way...

When I tried it, I overstressed the part, and decided not to do that again. I could probably get away with it without braking the part, but my kids would try to do it and probably break that part. |

No offense meant to you or the G.I. Joe toy designers, but the Hasbro reps frequently set these toys up wrong in the display cases when in a hurry, and if something doesn’t work, just glue it together.

Reps are known to do that one time or another, but for this particular figure, the placement of the magazine is frequently seen placed at the bottom of the gun... so these other photos of POC IGs taken from reviews and other toy fairs are coincidentally all wrong or as you termed silly? or Hasbro is wrong placing it there even if they designed it that way? |
