Now that Hasbro is no longer making Sigma 6 Figures - What is your list of the top 6 figures and Why?
#1 Sigma Strike Duke - If you do not have a duke figure and want the best version that Hasbro made this is it. It has really bad ass weapons with strong green laser for fire effect along with the backpack for sounds. It even has a sound effect when you change out the barrel like changing a clip in a gun. #2 Cobra Commander V1 - All around good update to this classic character. It has a lot of great weapons and Hasbro did CC some Justice. #3 Zartan - Even the 3 3/4 Guys have this Sigma 6 figure in the closet. Not only is the gear tops the sculpt is perfect. #4 Storm Shadow V1 - Again a killer sculpt with classic weapons and cloth gear. No need to make another version. #5 Snake Eyes V1 - Icon.............. #6 Ninja B.A.T - Best troop builder of the line with great weapons.

Of the ones I have, here are the 6 I think are best:
1-Paratrooper Duke: I got this thing for $5 at target when I stopped in on a rainy day and they were preparing for their spring reset. LOADED with accessories, and my favorite Duke figure. Buying this canceled out my desire to buy the first Duke. I mainly wanted the first Duke due to his accessories, but Paratrooper Duke had the ones I wanted most(switchfire components). Armed to the teeth, and if you don't want him as Duke, you can just leave the awesome mask on. The harness has ports for many weapons and grenades. Basically, a parachuting one man war machine. 2-Commando Snake Eyes(Kung fu grip wave): One of the best Snake Eyes figures ever made. None of the parts here were used on any previous Snake Eyes figure, and his all new head sculpt is done well and is also an homage. The weaponry is great, not a trace of ninjutsu aside the whipstar with string. The accessories are excellent, especially the ammo belts, which solidifies the commando look. Initially I wanted a more traditional color scheme, however the first s6 snake eyes had green, so this one wasn't too far off. The tonfas are great with their fold out blades, and even then they do not remind me much of ninjutsu. This is a pure commando all the way through. With the entire body and aesthetic sharing nothing similar with the first s6 snake eyes, this is the perfect snake eyes for those tired of the ninja gimmick. Armed to the teeth and ready for war. The modular uzi is nice, and the crossbow looks lethal. The ability to store his grenades, tonfas, and gun on his body all at the same time is impressive. This figure makes the first sigma 6 snake eyes figure look like a trainee in comparison(and I am also a big fan of that version). If it weren't for Paratrooper Duke and a couple other figures in the line, this would take the cake as the best. There are a ton of Snake Eyes figures in every line, and if you have to have the best, or just one, make it this one. Its that good. 3-Lt. Stone: I had heard from many reviews that this was the figure to buy. So it wasn't too surprising later on that he was hard to find. Luckily I found one not too long ago. One of the best things about this figure is the range of motion; its excellent. The thin body type used on this figure works very well. The accessories are excellent, 3 holsters for his pistols, one of which lacks a silencer and can be placed in his trap gun. The fact that his Zartan/Cobra trooper disguise can be put together and hand held is surprising. This also diminishes the possibility of losing parts. The sheath for his knife is a nice touch, as is his removable helmet. The trap gun can be configured in 2-3 ways as well as held 2 ways. All in all, this is a great figure with high play value. His Cobra trooper disguise looks unique enough to make him look like another figure altogether. The bionic arm is awesome, and I love clear plastic. The figure has a very cool aesthetic and great accessories. 4-Soldier Kamakura: This was the first soldier figure I got, and after this, it became the benchmark figure I would always compare other sigma 6 figures to. It set a standard in my opinion. This figure is the epitome of the soldier class; cheaper price, and a ton of accessories. This guy had more weaponry than the first s6 Snake eyes! You could place most of his weapons on his body or bandolier. His weapons can be configured in a multitude of ways. The head sculpt is awesome, showing an aggressive and dedicated joe ready to fight. The visor was a nice touch. The metal chain is the best part of his ball and chain accessory. The fact that is was made from metal was a pleasant surprise. The sword was a new sculpt and had its own scabbard, I was so glad the sword was not a reuse of Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow's sword, as that is common in the smaller line, and was to be expected with the soldier class. Luckily, it did not turn out that way. The figure came with 3 attachement pegs, to be used on any of the weapons. Overall this was an excellent figure for the price with high play value and interchangeability of accessories. This is the best Kamakura of the line. 5-Cobra Firefly: This figure has way more accessories than the first s6 Firefly did, for the same price. Many fans didn't know what to do with his flame launcher/saw, but I use it as a shoulder mounted rocket launcher. Sure its slim, but it works. Besides, its the only way to display it without looking weird. The arm gauntlets are sculpted well, and give him more melee weapons to use. He comes with 2 machine guns(I only need one but many fans wanted two, as seen with the original s6 firefly prototype), and the new headsculpt is excellent. He definitely looks evil, more sinister than his first version. Definitely a step up and accurate to his character. The mask now has a scar molded in, but its not noticed by most fans. Its a nice addition to the sculpt but far too overlooked. You can tell the sigma 6 team was mad when they found out who Firefly was really working for. Stone must have cut him. The new sculpted parts for him work very well and not only provide an homage to the RAH Firefly, but are unique enough to set him apart from the first s6 Firefly. At first glance, the only parts they seem to share are the mask, but even then the new mask has the distinct scar that the first one lacks. I recommend both figures, but the Cobra version is the superior of the two. 6-Adventure Team Storm Shadow: This Storm Shadow isn't a mere repaint of the first Storm Shadow like many think. It actually has a new chest, and reused parts from Crossbow Storm Shadow. I'm a big fan of how Storm Shadow looked when he returned in the DDP comics(designed by Mike Zeck), and the new chest sculpt is reminscent of it. Fans say this is the joe version of old Tomisaburo, and the lack of cobra symbols anywhere on the figure and box seem to prove this theory. I don't mind! Storm Shadow is my favorite character and he was never evil(even in Sigma 6 he was brainwashed according to the filecards). Some of you might be asking right now, "why would Shin like this one better than the first Storm Shadow?". The first s6 Storm Shadow is incredibly well made and tough to surpass. The only ones to do so are this one, and possibly the upcoming Samurai Storm Shadow(WHERE ARE YOU!?). I like the new sculpt chest a lot, as it has four sigma ports in the back and one in front. The new swords are great, they fit in the jungle theme well and the aggressive aesthetic matches Storm Shadow's fiery personality. To store, they combine into one bigger sword, and can be used as such or as two different swords. The translucent gray goggles and GPS device are nice additions. The goggles give a nice technological aesthetic. The new sculpt sash and hipguards are nice additions as well. The tiger is great. I am a big fan of the headsculpt. The bear trap, capture net, and staff with claw blade are accessories that can be used on cobra figures too, so they are not just limited to the tiger. The real metal chains on the daggers are awesome, they can be used as Storm Shadow's weapons or to trap the tiger. To top it off, the retro themed Adventure Team medallion is a small, yet excellent addition to the figure. While it is hard to say which Storm Shadow is better, I'll have to say this new version slightly edges out the first s6 version. The uniqueness and different aesthetic work in this figure's favor. If you want the traditional ninja aesthetic, go with the first s6 Storm Shadow, but if you want something a bit different, with hints of the original but another unique direction, get this. This is another case where I recommend both(they are great figures), however as close as this is, the Adventure Team one is better in my eyes. |

1. commando snake eyes...best se imo...doesn't look like any other se and cool to have a non-ninja snake eyes. he feels old school despite the camo pants because they played up the spec ops aspect instead of the later ninja nack ground storyline.
2. zartan...practically perfect in every way. 3. storm shadow v1...great basic representation of my favorite character. he has tons of gear and is alot of fun. 4. flint...didn't think i would like him at all but i dig everything about him. love the new look. 5. snake eyes v1...still have to have the best all around ninja version. the reason i started buying s6. 6. spirit v1...cool gear, great sculpt. made me like a character i was never really into
