Sparks another of the non original 13, like Shooter and atleast two others he was on the team but not really
His role was originally more of a personal assitant to the CO of the team, he resigned at one point from the team and assisted in a less direct manner during many of the team's down size issues and kept tabs on certain members of the team when the team was mothballed, several times he was the Pentagon Liason as well as key political officer.
He often forms paternal bonds with his commanders, speculation on his resignation was rooted to the death of General Flagg. When General Hawk was crippled his efforts where to triple the amount of special security personel on the team's roster, now he often treated almost like a son to General Colton, should something happen to either the Coltons or Sparks I fear for the poor unfortunate soul that forged that mistake.
On the Team Sparks closest friends include Recondo and mostly the motorpool grunts like Rock n Roll and Clutch. He was more than happy to let Breaker be the field comm specialist while he stayed at base, additions of Mainfram, Dailtone and the many other specialists in similar fields made his field time almost nonexistant. He never resented it, Doc used to say it just gave him more than enough of an excuse to chat up Carla.
