Finally bit the bullet. I found a tunnel rat v1 at thrift store. 2 dollars. I am hooked. Just bought loose complete ninja showdown three days ago. And yesterday I won an auction for 11 figures loose near complete. Total spent. 87 dollars. Will post pics when I get figs in mail.

I cannot tell you how intriguing the early Sigma 6 line is, if you can get past the cannon of whatever line came before and enjoy what was made as an extension of the Joe evolution then you will have much more fun, (Isn't that what toys are for?) with the concept.
Honestly, these are just as much innovative in concept as the ARAH line was... It was just the execution that did a lot of damage. Anyway, there are a couple of lines that got my attention with the Joe line and Sigma 6 is one of them. A true and innovative way to look at the francise. Just don't look to the anime for continuity, it ruins it. But if you can distance the two, and have fun with what is being offered: In extent; be a kid again, ENJOY! Outside of PoC, I have yet to see a concept of the Joe line that re-envisions the line and breaths life into a stagnant 25th-50th ideal of what the toy should represent. Take them outside, take pictures! Let kids play with them because God knows they were made for it! And I hope you have fun with these figures.

My daughter loves tunnel rat. She has always loved my action figures, but she has indoctrinated TR into her monster high. Need some gear for him. Love these toys.

Sigma 6 is what got me back into Joe going into the 25th. I was hooked when I saw the preview in Toy Fare magazine (getting news in a printed magazine? Might as well have been carved in stone). I remember when they finally hit I found Duke and Heavy Duty close to my house, which led to a day of driving to every TRU in the Seattle area to find a complete set. That first run made me excited for toys in a way that I had not been in a long time, and probably still have not equalled again.

10 days, 2 auctions, 13 figures, 80 accessories, 75 dollars, all worth it for the afternoon I just had with my girlfriend and daughter.

Sigma 6 still rocks. I like the look, the accessories, and the articulation. The only downside is the fact that they take up so much more room than 3 3/4 Joes.

Loving some of those Adventure team figures, Recondo and the various 2007 AT packs...though they look a bit HTF? Not seeing much on eBay. Others I'm eyeing are 2007 Commando Snake Eyes, Lockdown, Grand Slam, Spirit, Paratrooper Duke, Long Range, Shipwreck, etc. Looks like loose complete figures can be pricey though. Might have to forgo a few accessories to find a better deal.

love sigma 6 figs as well...I scoop up a few every now and then. The last few made are the hardest to find - but also the ones I want the most.
There is a guy who only customizes in S6 and man if HASBRO made the stuff he made....wow! EDIT - must be vanishing point...I see him more on FaceBook so didn't realize he posted here. :o http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ing-point.html They are the perfect size to actually take outside and play. Great score on all that for $75 - time for me to eBay some more. Maybe even try customizing them someday...

Got my first Sigma 6ers a few days ago, sooo refreshing to have such solid fun expressive Joe toys like these in my hands after years of rather finicky Modern Era Joes.
My Sigmas are definitely well played with, which is awesome! I love that. All the moreso because there is little serious wear, and only one loose joint. Well, there's a broken neck peg too, but, the figures were so cheap, I'll just strip the fig for gear and imagine the awesome backyard adventures he must have been put through to end up with a broken neck. Some kid loved that figure! I'm getting more of these, no doubt. The GI Joe brand could use some of the spirit exhibited in these figures, and the thought put into them. Here's a quick pic of my fav so far: This guy just exudes character and attitude!
