I didn't even know about the Sigma 6 Joes when they were out; It was probably just shortly after I stopped buying GI Joes (before I started again...)At any rate, I started collecting 12" Gi Joe Vs. Cobra again, and also started collecting Sigma 6 for the first time ever... All these guys I got at a really good price, even though I didn't get all their gear with them... Still, I'm very happy with my collection so far...

Wow. I'm thinking about picking some up. At the very least, I'd like to experience some in-hand so I can legitimately compare them with other Joe toys. Besides, they look fun, and sturdy, two qualities I'd love to see in Joe toys again. Trying to open my mind to new avenues Joe figures can take, as the Modern Era winds down.

Sigma Six (the ENTIRE 8" range) remains horrifically under appreciated, IMO.
I still maintain the opinion that Sigma Six may well have been the last, great, action figure concept, one we'll never see at retail again.

Where do you guys go to find these older figs besides eBay. The prices on there are ridiculously expensive.

Flea markets and yard sales are probably solid bets. It's been ten years, and all the kids with Sigma Six are at the age where they'll probably be dumping their toys.

I agree. There's been nothing like it at retail since it ended. Such an excellent toyline and still holds up today! Sturdy action figures, no loose joints! MADE for play and very fun to play with.
