10 figures in the wave, im gonna tackle 5 at a time. First the Dukes then the Snake Eyes variant.
In fact lets call the first 3 Not Duke because they all have a helmet or mask and they are way too friggin cool on their own to be worried about being "just another Duke." Sigma strike Not Duke. They gave this figure a whole ton of gear. And it's all very cool and one of the most played with figures that I remember the kids playing with. But I figure you need to be able to carry all of your own Gear pal! So he is, missiles too. ParaNotDuke This is one of the best figures of the line. They reused all great accessories , combined two great harnesses into one and gave us one of the best working action figure parachutes of all time. And he can carry all his gear. Night Ranger w/ Duke I'm okay with this one being Duke because it really should have been the second Duke they made. Between Sea Ops Jet Wing Paratrooper Sigma strike and Arctic all of those could have been other characters and the second version of Duke could have come with the cool ATV and it would have been perfect. Now on to the first winter themed character in the line. Arctic Not Duke. From the great vest to the neck warmer, this figure is truly fantastic. And last of the first half of 2006 wave 3 is Jungle Commando Snake Eyes. I dont have the same opinion about the SE variants as I do Dukes. Because mostly, they are great figures and undoubtedly scream Snake Eyes. With a couple exceptions which ill get to in time. Heres a group shot and the expanded view of everything else on the tier. This is also the bottom tier! I built the display myself |

That Jungle SE is one of my all-time favorite toys. Just captured my imagination like nobody's business.

The one I just opened Ive had stored away for a few years now. I once believed I would never get my hands on the variant which is ridiculously rare. Funny thing is I have another green snake but I think I got it randomly.
Crisp Photo? Well there could not be a bigger compliment from you good sir! thanks! The awesome power of the Galaxy s6 Active ! (and big overhead led lighting!) |

ok lets finish off 2006 ! I teased with the Green Snake Variant of Spirit v2 so lets start with him .
Tunnel RaT V2 didnt get alot of good reviews , mostly because he didnt come with his harness and goggles. But I like this figure and the accessories that came with him. And Here he is, carrying all his gear ready to get to work. Next up is Airglide Kamakura. Now , not many like the character in any form. But heres the story with this toy. This was the First Sigma we ever got. A gift to my son when he was 3 or 4 . And it didnt take long for me to have my hands on it. It was this figure that sparked my obsession. The poseability, the toy quality. Durability. I needed more. So I got them all, yknow, for the Boy. Which are now all mine. I never planned that. Truly. Riiiight. But it goes to show, Of all the figures in this line, It was this one that hooked me. It has been said many times by us in the Sigma Community that if you just get your hands on it, u will love it. And you dont even need one of the best. I left the last 2 Commandos for last because they are the first Original Characters of the 10 released this wave. So first up is Hi TEch . Amazing Toy top to bottom. And Last we finally get another Baddie. And He's my favorite all time baddie. Chrome Dome himself. DESTRO Here they are, Wave 3 2006 Part 2. No big group shot cuz i think i may move some around. |

Hi Tech made it in my collection until the bitter end. Such a fun figure.
I decked mine out in Xevoz accessories and gave him the collar piece from the MOTUC figure of... um... Prince Adam's mom. Marlena? So cool to hear that Kamakura was your gateway drug. You're right; just need to get your hands on one! |
