If you're anywhere close to Northern Virginia (DC metro area) you might want to go to the Wal-Mart on 9401 Liberia Avenue in Manassas. Last night I saw lots of wave 7 and 9. Probably 4 or 5 of each figure including BATS and Ninja Ku's, which most people are crazy about. I already have mine. I want them to be sold and clear room for the new stuff coming soon.

I don't get why everyone is so hard up to get a Ninja Ku. It's just another Storm Shadow. I got it just to get it, but I wouldn't have cared had I missed out on him.

I hate that Walmart. I went up there two Saturdays ago and it looked like a tornado hit their toy aisle. The only one I've seen worse is the K-Mart on Indian River. I don't even know how they order new toys since almost none are on the pegs, they're on the floor.
I just got back from battlefield walmart and the toy aisles are no longer blocked. They had a good number of wave 7, a lot of Wild Bills, 1 HISS driver(is this guy the new Flash? I rarely see him). They had a bunch of Snake Eyes, Duke, and Vipers. They had 1 12" Torpedo, a couple Snake Eyes, 2 12" Storm Shadows(which looks surprisingly appealing), 1 DVD set with Destro, and a bunch of waves 1-4 comics, with about 4-8 packs being wave 4. I actually like the Storm Shadow comic from the comic pack, good way of tying loose ends, and I have less disdain for the lack of a shirt on Storm Shadow now, the comic makes the figure bad ass. He used everything that the figure comes with, thats pretty neat. Even the kama's, but he used them as grappel accessories, still cool. Even if Hasbro were to repaint him with a shirt later in the line as a single pack figure, I figured paying $9.88+tax is a good bargain as opposed to paying $6.94 each. The gear makes this set worth while, both figures are great(except for Storm Shadow's lower legs which are tricky to flex), and the Firefly included is the best one yet. If this Storm Shadow is painted with a shirt later on, and more accurately sculpted parts are used for the DDP design, then I will still buy the single pack version. As it is, this is one of the best comic packs I have bought. |

Hoosfn, where in VA did you find the black headed destro? I'm in Alexandria, Northern Virginia area and I'm trying to get an idea where they're popping up. Much thanks.

Walmart on Princess Anne had a TON of wave 7 stuff as well as Roadblock and CC from Wave 8.
Target on Princess Anne had a bunch of wave 7 as well. They also had a VAMP, HISS (which I bought) and one each of the other vehicle packs. Shin, I am not a fan of that Storm Shadow at all, I think he looks ridiculous. I do agree about the Firefly though, he's awesome.
