I go to Kingstowne very often. I really like that movie theatre. I live a few blocks from King Street. $18 is a lot for one vehicle. I may drive by and have a look at them; thanks for the heads up. If you're ever interesed in meeting up at Kingstowne TRU to talk Joes, let me know. It's always good to meet a fellow Tanker.

Saw the Doom Cycle and Ghost Hawk at TRU here in Charlottesville. Passed, I have the Doom Cycle coming from BBTS tomorrow. Still no POC singles, exclusive or otherwise. Might check Lynchburg this weekend.

Just stopped by Target in Charlottesville to pick up a set of the Serpent Armor for my Mini-Me. (Saw it on clearance for like 7 bucks a few weeks back)
RANG UP $2.50!!! Went back and did a quick check to find that all the remaining deluxe figures now ring up at $2.50 (needless to say I went back and got a few more). There was still a small selection of the different sets available as of 11am this morning. FYI also looked like they where about to start putting up the new stuff as they Hasbro pallets where rolling into the isles as I was rolling out. =) |

Hey bluesparrow cheers! brother.
I saw the same kits at TRUS as well. The Hawk and the Mirage are my two top picks of the Joe line. (Surpassed only by my yellow light cycle) ***Impression of the new Hawk*** I loved the "windowless" hard-tech look the new lines are offering. That said...seeing the new Hawk in person I just had to shrugg and say Naaaaa....just not that impressed. Doesn't hold a candle to my 25th aniverseary Hawk. Going to wait till clearance on this one for sure. ***QUICK NOTE ON ROC PRICING*** (likely already been covered) Finding the ROC and POC alpha vehicles side by side on the shelves, it was hard to miss the the Alpha line price point has gone from 16.99 to 17.99.... Daddy could really use a few mini-rig-ish sets in the $5-7 range for junior for when we are running our "errands". If the entry point is $10-20 , well Hasbro it just ain't gonna happen. I fear that at the same time that Hasbro is really coming through in the quality of the sculpts they risk shooting themselves in the foot in the pricing department. |

Although I'm not too familiar with the latest 3.75" stuff. As you can tell from my sig and avatar, I loved the Sigma 6 line and have about 100 of them including customs.

I REALLY liked the Sigma line. I own most of the ones Hasbro released, and I would love to see your customs. Let me know when is good for you, and we'll get together sometime.

Hey guys can I play?
Grew up in the 70'a & 80's so I'm all about the 3.75" That said (for the number of released products) the Sigma Six lined kicked a$$ over my old joe stuff. I've slowly been converting the small scale sigma stuff that I bought for "the kids" (<said to the wife> Come on! Every 2 year old girl needs a DRAGONHAWK!) I've been desperate in search of a Street Razor to turn into a Blade Runner'esq Spinner. Have my eye on an auction that just came up that has one as part of the whole set...If I can do an end run around the wife with a credit card and manage to close the deal ;) |
