Is it going to be worth paying the $15 if I'm not into comics? I used to be, but can't afford collect both joes and comics. I only want to go if there is going to be enough toy wise. Please let me know and maybe see you guys there. Thanks

All I bought were toys last time I went.
Not entirely joes mind you. Thought one guy had quit the collection of 25th anniversary. I'm sure it varies from year to year. |

Alastria and I are driving up as I type. If anyone wants to meet up just post here or message me. I'll get the email on my phone.
Or just look for us there. I'll be the guy with the beard and long hair wearing a team Edward James Olmos shirt. And Alastria has her green lantern stuff on. |

Spent alot of time there... nothing spectacular. VERY LITTLE figures, etc. there. Spent alot of time snapping photos that turned out like crap due to the sunlight. Bought a Supergirl poster and have it auto'd by Helen Slater and couldn't resist paying for a Hulk auto! This was my first Comic Con so the wealth of costumes and LARP were really cool to see. They had three R2 units there which were pretty cool too.
Met a coulple of fellow Joe freaks - Awesome jobs on the outfits guys!! Don't think I'll be going tomarrow. All and all, YES, it was worth the $15 just to mingle with fellow collectors. |

I've been in the past, but haven't been blown away there! If you collect comics and other figures, then you can usually find something if you try hard enough! I went ahead and spent my $15 for the day on a Forest Griffin action figure from the UFC toy line at TRU in OP. They also had some of the greenshirt and crimson guard 5 packs on clearance for $14.99.
