I havent seen anything worth mentioning. I bought the Noks in Gilbert at a Target, but upon opening I found no filecards and no Doc sticker. What a crock of shit.

Again, not a fool proof concept, but certainly better than stickers that can be easily pilfered, the packaged retaped, and the figures returned to the store for a refund. |

Yeah the Toy Show in the Fall was kinda weak and I agree mostly garage sale stuff. If you walked around I was the guy who had the booth of nothing but wrestling stuff that most people did not even look at. There was one person I saw there who had bags and bags of wave one 25, but were keeping them behind her table. I have heard this one will be twice as big.
I like the idea that we should have our own little wants list going on in here and def keep it updated that way we ca help each other out. Do you guys just do Joe or other stuff? If so should be post all of our in store wants as we go out touring/hunting. For all you East Siders I may be working at Main/Gilbert starting very soon so it will be easier for us to meet up. |

Well, Wave 6 has shown up in Asia. AZ has been pretty lucky recently, receiving figures before a lot of other areas. Let's try to keep an eye out for eachother. If you find Wave 6 post here ASAP. If you find multiple figures and you're not buying them all please consider hiding them for others on the board. I am smack dab in central Phx so I can drive most anywhere in the Phx metro area within a reasonable amount of time and would drop whatever I'm doing to buy these. I personally am looking for 2 of each since it is a small wave. Happy hunting!

I was at the Walmart on Gary and Hunt (me and Shin's 'hood) looking at their Wave 1 comic packs. There were about 4 of them on the pegs. 3 of them had been cut open and taped back up. I wanted to tell somebody but I was pressed for time and I wonder what they would have really done anyway...

I agree that we AZ folks should keep an eye out for each other. If you hit the motherload of Wave 6 at some Valley store, please purchase multiples of each (as it's only a three figure set. You'd be out what $15 bucks?), as I'd gladly pay for a set. I'll make sure I do the same if finances and supplies are plentiful enough. Speaking of which; how many of us are there, who post on this board and are AZ collectors? We should set up some kind of blanket search pattern, so that we don't hit the same stores on the same day, yet still make sure we hit most (if not all) of them throughout the week. As I've already stated, I'm East valley, so I hit the 202 Southbound route about once a week (roughly 3-4 WM's and 2 Target's), and most of the WM's on the 60 headed East. Anyone else? |

I'll be checking the Wal-Mart and Target at 19th and Bethany tomorrow. I may go as far as the Wal-Mart at 35th and Bethany if time permits. I checked the Wal-Mart and Target on 44th and Thomas today and didn't see much. Wal-Mart appeared to have gotten in Wave 2 a couple of days ago but they are now left with the same 2 Lady Jayes they've had since Christmas and some Wave 1 comic packs. Target is loaded with comic packs and left overs from waves 2 and 3. |

Cobra-La you and I hit the same stores then every day. I am at the Target on 19th and Bethany Home at 12:28 and then I got to Walmart at 12:33. I work at the church on 15th and Maryland so I take my breaks from 12:20-12:50.
Every Wednesday my buddy and I hit the PV area. Heading up the 51 getting off on Cactus hitting the Target, KB, TRU, Walmart on Bell, Target Greatland, Target on 7th st and Bell and somet imes if we want to get crazy we go to Walmart on 19th and Bell and head over to Getro Center. (For those who have not been to the new walmart on the corner of Cactus and Tatum you can skip it. It is small like a grocery storeand the toy area only has a half of an aisle for boys action figures. They sell Corps but no Joes.) Every other friday I hit the Chandler area and go into the Scottsdale TRU area. Who else will be in the wave 6 cases? |
