Arizona G.I. Joe Sightings

Sure wish I was looking for comic packs wave 1. Every Target had at least two of each...most had 4. Target @ Fiesta Mall had a Snow Job and IG Destro. I picked up Destro and the girl charged me $3 because she didn't know the price and I (honestly) couldn't remember it...and i wasn't going to argue with her. She knew she was giving me a deal and I thanked her for it.

So, recap, I went to all of those Targets listed in my previous post and they only had wave 1 comics. KayBee at Fiesta had a Firefly. Superstition TRU and Kmart had nothing. Walmart on Rio Salado, the one near Superstition, the one on Hunt, and at Power/Ray had nothing.

Target on Val Vista and Warner scored a $5 BBI Humvee, and 2 CG's Target on Arizona and Warner scored a CG and 2 $6 Cobra Legions Packs.

TRU by Superstition Springs had DTC Ice Sabres for $8, there were two left as of yesterday.

I'm new to this site and computers in general, so please bear with me.I can't figure out how to start a new "thread" so hopefully yall AZ boys can help me,this has nothing to do with az sightings. Do any of you know the story behind the logo on wetsuits figure,and if possible send me a good picture of it.It looks like bird/fish to me.He has always been my favorite hasbro.I'm looking to get this tattooed and would like it to be accurate.Please help.

Y'know, I sometimes have a hard time believing we live in the same state, Shin, because you're describing stores I check out also, but you must be seeing something I'm not, or are getting there earlier/later than I am. I haven't seen a Wave 5 figure since before X-mas, and definitely nothing since.

I guess you just have the luck of the non-Irish!

Hit several Target stores today (Val Vista/Warner and Gilbert/Southern), but neither had anything but Wave 2/3. Also swept by a Walmart to do a return, but again, just more of Wave 2/3. In other words, East Valley appears to be a wasteland today. :-)

Any other collectors having better luck?

Picked up a $6 Joe 5 Pack at the Target on Warner and Arizona.

I found two cases of Wave 5 at the Target on Thomas and 44th. The first I had seen of the wave since before Christmas.

I haven't seen Wave 4 since my one sighting in early Dec. Is this Wave gone? I never did see a Scarlet and would like to pick one up.

I went to a Target early last week that had 6-7 of the Cobra Legions for $12. I'm going back Monday to see if they've dropped to $6. They also had Bradleys and Hummers for $12. If this go down to $6 I'm going to pick up a few as well.

Ah, a central PHX collector. Okay, finding two cases of Wave 5 makes sense. I'm on the extreme East side, and even though I have access to more Walmart stores than you probably do on your side of town, that doesn't mean I'm having any more luck in tracking down Wave 4 at least.

I'm with you in wondering if this Wave is done and gone. Hardly any trickled to market (in AZ at least), so I'm left to conclude that this Wave was just a courtesy to the fans, and the pocketbooks of Hasbro.
