Outside of TRU - I've only seen the crappy VvV pack at Target and it was the same price as the DVD packs. Last edited by Foundation; 03-06-2009 at 04:00 PM.. |

No new jets at the Northtown or Champlin Target stores. I know the Champlin store had about 30 jets on the riser shelves around Christmas. The Northtown Target is also fully overstocked with the older jets and the one's on the shelves are collecting dust.
I think the best way to find these is at stores that have hardly any of the older jets and therefore when the shelf is empty near empty they have somewhere to put the new stock out. Quote:
See, I spoke with one of the most helpful Target associates I've ever encountered at the Quarry Target. What he told me was that most stores carried anywhere from 4 - 12 of the "Old" planes. They won't bring in the Subgroup planes until the older stock has sold. The target in question had a Conquest/Rattler x2 on the Shelves. When this gentlemen went to look in the back for me, they had another 2 sets of each. What's funny is I thought being here in the home of Target we'd have our pick of new stuff..but that's what I get for assuming (lol). You know, we should plan a get together sometime this spring/summer. It would be cool to meet you MN Tankers. |

No sign of the new jets anywhere and I have been on the road for work all over MN and WI the last couple weeks, been to about 10-15 stores. I did find Resolute Duke in Winona tho'. If anything the closer you are to HQ the later we get stuff. |

Both the Minnetonka and the Southtown TRU's have all the new 5 packs in stock if anyone is interested. I did a price check and the Southtown TRU on the Resolute pack and for some reason it came up as a vehicle for $16.99 and the other packs came up the regular price of $29.99. Didn't buy any of them cause I really don't want them. Mostly was looking to see if the TRU exclusive 5 pack were on clearance, but no luck there. So the Resolute pack might actually be miss priced right now, but I'm sure they'll catch it soon enough. Good hunting fellow MN Tankers.
oh by any chance has anyone see a Blowtorch figure lately? I still don't have him yet. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks! |

The 5 packs have made their way to the East Metro Targets. Resolute pack remains elusive. I'm actually kind of glad the carded figures are on hiatus until after the movie. My bank account can definately tell the difference.

Picked up GI Joe #3 at Source today. Bought the Snake Eyes cover which is very cool. Also, bought the Destro Mighty Mugg that I haven't seen anywhere else. Passed on the Baroness and Duke so far but I have the others.

That would be kinda cool. We could even plan a geekfest for that movie that's coming out even though I'm not really looking forward to it. I think I've only bumped into Spiderpumpkin once or twice, but I've actually seen other Joe collectors at stores - unlike SW collectors. Mikey |
