Saw the new MU wave 5 the other day at 2 different walmarts in Lawrenceville.
On another note went out and saw a crazy repack with a vintage ripper instead of monkeywrench and it too had rubber bands around the arms to hold the weapon. The other thing that I saw was a new policy statement about collectables at Target. Anyone else see this???

I heard that the AT-ST has popped up at some walmarts. Any news of them in the area?

For those interested oak wood walmart has the WWE BnB wave that has "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, there was two "Rowdy" Roddy Pipers there as of 5:00 pm. Looks like walmart has skipped the wave with Sgt. Slaughter :(

What kind of policy? I went into the North Point Target today (didnt see shit what a surprise just picked up the new Pearl Jam album though) and I didnt see anything about a collectible policy. It would be nice if they enforced some kind of anti-scalper policy that stopped anyone from buying "collectibles" before schools out, for people over the age of 21. Might give normal people with work and maybe some kids a chance to actually get the toys they want. But thats kind of a socialist outlook I guess so forget that
Target has had a 'collectibles' policy for a long time. However, they seem only to enforce it at their own whim; basically, if the worker doesn't 'like' you, they can whip out the collectible policy and refuse to sell you whatever it is you're after. I've seen reports over several years of different stores suddenly posting signs about the policy - I can only assume the toy manager at that location has a bug up his butt about grown men buying toys.

I don't think Ive asked about items in the back more than 2x. People either pull this really blank expression or just brush you off with the "we get deliveries in a couple times a week, just check back "

Speaking of Repacks. There is a Dragonhawk vehicle with a 25th Breaker packed in instead of the Wild Bill. It's obvious the tape on the left side of the box had been removed and reapplied. I hope the helicopter is still inside!

Unrelated to GIJoe - I found wave 5 (?) of TCW in the old SWM in Acworth yesterday. Only picked up Luminara. They also had TPM wave from the Legacy collection.
No sign of ROC wave 4 yet, although I'm not even sure that I care. Finally saw the movie last night, so I'm anxiously awaiting November and the polar sharc sub. |
