If anyone happens to find a TF Tiger Rat at 75% off, please hook me up. I've checked several Targets and haven't seen ANY clearance stuff. :(
By the way, I work at the old Acworth Walmart on 41 if that makes meeting up any easier. I work 10pm-7am. Just ask for Jeremy in electronics. Oh, any 75% off Joe Mighty Muggs - need those too. |

Hey Shock - Your store was one of the WMs I called this morning. Can you verify that they don't actually have anything to stock? Let me know if and when your store gets anything in. I haven't seen at clearanced fighters recently, but I'll keep my eyes out.

I'll take a look in the backroom and see if they have any cases or a pdq display for action alley (that's what we call the main isle running on all 4 sides of the store). I called up a friend who also works there the day before yesterday and he said he still hadn't seen anything. Walmart's lack of "being on the ball" with the RoC figures is starting to worry me. Bad enough they probably won't price match Target's $6.99 a figure - even though Target is right across the street. :( |

So, I opened my third figure this morning. Flash seemed like the best choice as the figure is really cool looking and doesn't have the design feel of the ROC line. Well, all I can say is overall I'm satisfied with my purchase! Aesthetically, the figure looks really cool. The body design and elements all work well. Back when the prototype first showed up, I was hoping this figure was going to be the resolute firefly since the armor looks just like the design drawings. The chest armor is removable but the skirt is glued to the waste. As soon as I put the helmet on, I found that it doesn't rest on the head properly since the armor rises so high on the neck. I'm a stickler for this kind of stuff and since the windows is transparent, you can see his eyes looking through at the very bottom of the helmet. I was a little disappointed with the accessories. The smaller rifle actually looks good and works well but the handle is too thick. This can be fixed with a knife. The laser rifle handle is even thicker. At first, I couldn't figure out where to put the plug from the rifle cable as the figure comes with no backpack. Out of the corner of my eye, I see that there is a port on the spring loaded cannon accessory where it fits. I thought this was pretty dumb to connect to guns but upon closer inspection I found a hole on the backside of the armor. It looks too small but the plug does fit in there whether it's supposed to or not. Overall a definite must have in the wait till resolute or 25th figs come back.

Haven't opened the pit commando yet but I was surprised to see that he comes with the steel brigade helmet. I just opened the elite viper next. I'm kinda torn on this one. Look wise, the figure's coloring is pretty good but I have some issues with the construction. The way the holster belt fits is less than desirable, you need to pull it over the vest in order to get a tight fit and it doesn't like to stay there. Of course I'm still happy to have it since holsters and holders for weapons is a must have for me. This is where this figure's backpack excels (I must note the backpack is extremely loose on the back of the figure but this could just be mine and is easily remedied)! Not only does it hold the hammer/axe, you can place both mp5's on it! Place the mp5s over the protruding squares with the clips over the center of the backpack. Then you can press them on and they hold. This is definitely by design. Seems the official review neglected to mention this and makes the figure very desirable. Not sure how the axe/hammer fits in but if you've got imaginary armor that bullets don't penetrate and your laser gun runs out of juice, I guess that's how you destroy your enemy.

yeah it's getting annoying that a few targets with 25th stuff left won't freakin' clearance it...especially the jets & comic packs.
also need an armadillo vs. air chariot pack if anyone sees one lol |
