I know Kingdom comics (AKA Captian comics), and Legion offer star trek, and role play types a place to do there thing. It cost money no doubt to rent the space. IMO Bob's is Birminghams best kept secret with plenty of old school Joes (last time I checked), but I don't know if they offer these kind of services. Chuck (who works there)is a board member here so it might be a good idea to ask him. Here is his Public Profile if you wanted to do so http://www.hisstank.com/forum/member.php?u=60263 I had a house in East Lake I would have gladly offered up for such an occasion, but I'm moving to Mississippi, and moved back in with the Folks in Montgomery till then (typical I know don't laugh). Anybody else got a place to offer? Please speak up. If not perhaps we could plan an outing to the movie premire or something. Dan |

Yo, Specter, you sure there is a cobra 5pck 1 still around here?!? Man, I have got to get one! And which Ross are you talking about? I would like to go there cos the guys on this board say that Joe stuff is on sale, and KMart is still full price. Thanks for the tip and a reply.
I went to Bob's this week to see his collection. Makes me feel good about mine, since chuck priced incomplete and non-mint stuff relatively high (2yrs ago, too, to likely more valuable now). I pulled out some of my old stuff Friday and piced together a complete Night Viper, SE 89 and 91, Road Pig, Wild Bill 92, Rock Viper, others. My wife and I are looking to purchase a new home, and she told me I can have a man room and display my collection. When we buy, I will gladly have you fellas over. |

TRU In Montgomery still has plenty 5 packs. I'll pick one up if you want. I know Bob's is a little high, but it's a breath of fresh air in a town of dead ends. Plus it feels good to support the little guy insted of Wal-mart all the time. |

Oh yeah. Has anybody talked to the two guys who work at TRU in Hoover? Two of those guys are really into Transformers/GI.Joe. One of them has a huge cobra logo tattoo, and a decepticon Tatt as well. Nice guys, they both used to work at Blockbuster off oporto madrid. We'd nerd out when I went to get movies
