Excuse me, I think I need to visit the restroom. I've made a mess in my pants.

By the way, I have something VERY exciting to show you all once I get home. I'd show you now, but I don't have a digital camera with me at work.
....whoops did I say "at work"?! I mean with me on my lunch break, because I would never surf the internet while I was working....... |

I don't mean to derail the thread (ok well maybe I do), but I saw an article that I found absolutely appalling. Please don't take this the wrong way, because I in no way begrudge people making a lot of money. However, for a small town city manager (and police chief) to make THIS kind of money it makes me want to puke.
California Official's $800,000 Salary in City of 38,000 Triggers Protests - Bloomberg I know it's old news, but I was reminded of it yesterday after reading an update to the article. Apparently, the guy not only makes $800,000 a year, but he also gets 20 paid weeks of vacation. I'd kick the dude in his piss pump if I lived in his city. Back on subject, @Regilan: If I'm not mistaken B'ham got their truck this morning, so it could have been put out today. |

WTF seriously? I wonder if he returned them? the only exclusive I'm looking for atm is Spirit and I think Brcall has that covered. If you end up going back there let me know. If you could pick me up as many alley vipers as you could 2 fireflies and a beach head I'll gladly pay you for them. that's the only POC I really want atm.

@Brcall. yeah maybe they did. I talked to Crystal about it and she's contacting the store manager and will get back to me. I heard some of the employees there consider him a VIP. wtf? I think somethings fixin to go down and it ain't gonna be pretty. Last edited by Regilan Viral; 08-10-2010 at 01:50 PM.. |

I stopped by Big Lots here. No PTE. Nothing new at all.
And they were sold out of those scorpion sets. Which was weird 'cause they used to have dozens of them.

Yeah bro, I still want that stuff. I'll also take that SJ off your hands if no one else wants it as I was wanting one. Let me know if there's anything else besides what's on your BST list because I'm pretty sure I don't got jack from it. We'll have to set up a day that a bunch of us can meet up in Huntsville or something.
On a side note. Does anyone have the actual store number {not phone number} and Store manager name for the TRU in B'ham? I called yesterday evening and talked to a very nice young lady there and she went and got a case of POC Joes and even named off some of the ones I wanted. I asked her if there was any way she could hold them for me as I live 1/12 hours away. She said she'd gladly hold them for me up to 2 hours. I told her what I look like and would wearing and she said ok, I'll set them aside for you. I got there and spoke to a guy at the front and asked if I could get the joes that were being held for me. He informed me that NO and it is against company policy to 'hold' items for ANYONE. needless to say I was very upset then and asked why would someone tell me they could AND the fact I drove 1 1/2 hours to be let down and he said sorry sir it's against policy. Well I decided in upset mood that I'd try and calm a bit and I looked in the aisle with the joes and the girl came up to me and was very nice but was opologising like her job depended on it. She told me that the guy I talked to upfront had sold them to our 'friend' Daniel and he held them off the floor for him until he came and picked them up. She said this happens too often there and they get alot of complaints from customers about Daniel and the items being held back for him. This will be the 3rd time I have lost out because of items being held for him and I'm sick of it. I'm sure that what they are making off of his sales is nothing compared to what they are losing when people like me cannot find the items they are supposed to have. I usually try to pick up most if not all of what I'm looking for from 1 place if possible. I've passed on items at stores just because I could get them plus others I was looking for from another store. I know I'm not the only one this is affecting. I know of some on here and I'm sure Parents/Grandparents and even kids don't buy things there because of the newest stuff being held back/sold off to scaplers. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!

Question: How many of you would be interested in meeting maybe every two months or so in some centralized location for trading/bullshitting, etc.?
I'm in Montgomery. We get stuff here that other places in Bama seem to miss and other regions get things we never get. Maybe it would help us all to help each other. We could exchange lists of what we are looking for and then, if we found it, pick it up and then we could all settle up at the meeting. How realistic do you think that is? Like Viral's situation with the POC action figures. Working as a team we could avoid things like that. What do y'all think? I imagine this has been discussed before. Maybe it's even already being done. If it is, how do I get in on it?
