I was going to buy that Corps! Humvee until I saw the new VAMP coming out.
http://generalsjoes.com/wp-content/g...eh/19_vamp.jpg That is a working wench on the front. As for Marshalls, it's one of my regular hunting grounds, but they never really have much. I suspect there's a collector that works there. The toy section is also a nightmare to go through. The Family Dollars have ruined me with how clean/organized they are. Yeah the guy who works in the back room separating the stock sells stuff on the sly there. we got one of those down here in cullman who stocks the toy section at a dept store here. One day I seen him open a case of hot wheels and about crapped himself and he shoved 3 behind some discounted pokemon figures and started stocking the shelves a little down the row. I snagged them and put them with my other things in my cart much to my wife's dismay. He came back like 5 mins later and was cussing up a storm, turns out they were something called treasure hunt cars. I'm not sure why they were so big to him but I got them and handed them over to out local Marines for toys 4 tots. The reason why I did that on purpose is because he takes the best stuff while he's stocking the shelves and scalps them at another place. Cray might have a little idea who I'm talking about. |

Yeah I thought the same thing when one of my wife's friends {who used to work there} told me about him. He was on vacation when those transformers made their way on the shelves. I have the feeling they'd never have made it out if he was there that week.

Jeremy works at K-Mart in Cullman and use to sell at Cullman Flea Market...he now sells at Hartselle Indoor Flea Market.
I almost got him fired once but his mother is one of the managers there so what is someone to do. He actually has laid off the Hot Wheels now. Benji who also works at K-Mart is the real culprit. He once told me when I asked for help finding a certain toy "I doubt it, we're in business for ourselves". He also sells toys at the Hartselle Flea Market. As for the rundown on others here in Cullman: Kenny and Dink sell Hot wheels at the Cullman Flea Market...but they are good guys and obtain their toys LEGALLY and on a hunt just like us. Ben Barnhard sells imitation cheap swords and toys but he is no threat. He mostly has crapt and I have even sold some of my stuff through him...nothing new...just old stuff. I have one of my old 501st Stormtrooper costumes on a mannequin in his shop. I don't really have much to do with him anymore as he is really just a unbalanced person in real life and he has some mental issues. The only other toy guy is a cop who hunts Hot Wheels named Bill. There was a rumor once that he opened 15 cases on a pallet at Wal-Mart. But to be honest...he has been nothing but helpful to me and he would help anybody out...that's just his style. As for toy department managers....Sandra has been MIA at Wal-Mart due to surgery and she is onthe up and up. And Bettie is the toy manager at K-Mart..or at least the person who is in charge of that area. She is super cool and is NOW the only person who can stock toys due to the complaint on Benji and Jeremy. She is also onthe up and up. I have this town down to a science...and this place still amazes me sometimes. Oh..and the price point onthose IM2 figures was $6.99.....I bought 3 and used the coupon from Whiplash. |

I know Kenny and Dink personally, but you can't talk about them without mentioning Jay. lol Ya gotta love that smart-ass. Bill's a great guy, I used to deal with him on an almost daily basis when I still worked in cullman. I deal on occasion with ol' Ben. We have lengthy debates on his items and their authenticity, but he's a good guy all around. I get the occasional figure from him. Matter of fact I snagged the Orko and Iron Monger from him for customs. That orko made a killer black mage from Final Fantasy. but yeah t'was benji I was talking about. and Jeremy just gets on my damn nerves, The only reason he hasn't been canned is his mommy is a manager there. |

Well, I checked two Walmarts last night, and neither one had the Series 2 figures. Maybe Cullman got them first since they're so close to the Distribution Center?
I spoke to one of the managers at Family Dollar, and she said that they can't place orders. I have a feeling though that she just didn't want to bother with it. I left my name and number at another store where the employees seemed a lot more willing to help. They asked if I was a collector, and I told them I was and that I had a son that was a collector as well. We'll see what happens next. |

Keep me in mind if they can order some cases for you. I talked to an employee at family dollar in jones chapel since I live like 7 down the highway and she said to talk to the manager to see if they can/would order some extra cases but to not hold my breath. lol |

I found 2 carded 25th B.A.T.S on the peg at one of the DG's in cullman. They were on the same pegs as the ARAH and VvV leftovers. I had taken them up to the counter and asked how much and when she scanned them she said,"I'm sorry sir, these aren't supposed to be there" and took them and put them under the counter. I'm kind of suspicious now. |
