Got outbid on Ebay for one that was closing extremely soon. $30 (including shipping) is the most the wife is allowing for this and even then she is kind of saying this is "one time only".

CVS x2 Walgreens x2 Kroger Walmart x2 CVS, Walgreens, Kroger did NOT have any IM2 figures, but they did have other Hasbro figures (MU/SW/Joes/etc). I don't know if they will be getting any, or what. I spoke to the stock guys at both Walmarts, and they said they haven't had any new IM2 figures come in since the initial push. |

I went looking for medicine for my daughter and I found alot of discounted ROC Joes at the 2 Rite-Aides in Cullman. Seems they are gearing up for a remodel of both stores and marked alot of items down at 75% off. the haul consisted of:
ROC: Snake Eyes x 2 Storm Shadow x 3 Cover Girl x 2 Accel suit Heavy duty x 2 assorted mixed Vipers, x 8 Sgt. Flash x 2 Baroness x 2 Scarlet x 1 Accel suit Rip Cord x 1 Destro x 1 Doc x 2 all at $2.49a pop. 4 assorted Joe scale Harley Davidson cycles $2.50 a pop 3 Transformers animated deluxe figs: oil slick, snarl, lockdown $3.75 a pop. and some random generic figures for parts/weapons for customs. Check your local Rite-Aides just incase they are remodeling. Also the Family Dollar in Jones Chapel and Holly Pond have 25th Joes for $3 |

new? yeah I just signed up recently but I have been lurking here for a long time. I live just 7 mins out 278w so when I am allowed to roam free by my master {wife}, and I have some extra money, I snag what I can. If I come across more I can buy them up and we can talk business. BTW the south rite-aide still had a few ROC left, mostly cover-girl and vipers.
Still lurking Tuesday morning to see if they ever get joes back in. I'll put up some pics of the TJ Maxx haul asap. Judging from the condition and discoloring of the price tags, I believe that they have been sent from another store that had them for a long time. Errr...that sounded a little too "scalpish" for this little group. A very sensitive subject around here. I probably just misunderstood you. Do you just collect Joe stuff or what else to do you collect? |

Welcome then.
I can literally see Tuesday Morning from my front window so that tells you where I live. Errr...that sounded a little too "scalpish" for this little group. A very sensitive subject around here. I probably just misunderstood you. Do you just collect Joe stuff or what else to do you collect? Thank you for the welcome. I am a former collector who had to get rid of ungodly amounts of collections when I got married {turns out she would have been fine with me keeping my stuff} and when money got real tight {sucks don't it?}. I'm kind of slowly aquiring a collection of gi joes and transformers. As far as the scalpish statement. yeah you misunderstood that. I want things to go people who appreciate them and not those who would turn a profit for making a quick buck. EI, If i bought 35 dollars worth of joes and you wanted them, if it was locally or I just happened to be in the area. Then the reciept would be used and all I'd ask for was the same I bought for. If I had to ship it or really go out of my way, well then yes a little bit more to cover gas/packaging/shipping and whatnot would be tacked on. So you can see tuesday morning from your window? Ahhh O.M I assume then? Last edited by Regilan Viral; 06-11-2010 at 10:18 AM.. |
