I know that TRU. I check that store when I visit my Mother In Law in Spring. I've never had any luck there. As a matter of fact the only out of town TRU that has done me any good is the one on 183 in Austin.

TRU at Baybrook has some wave 3.5 (Kwinn, Cobra Commander and a couple of others) as well as some of the wave 4 repack characters.
Also noticed walgreens has their joes on clearance for $7.99, so if you need wave 1 stuff for customs, now's the time to buy. |

Yeah, Blind Master, Jinx, and Night Viper were long gone by the time I hit that store today. Maybe I will get lucky at another TRU in Houston. Hasbro should have packed these characters to 2 per case at least in this assortment!

I hit the ToysRUs off Westheimer and one by I-10 between Bunker Hill and Gessner tonight. The Westheimer TRU had no single carded Joes. They got a wave 4 case in and, as I expected, I missed out again on Blind Master, Jinx, and Night Viper. Only about half the case was left including a Cyber Ninja and Dark Ninja. Both TRU stores had the new Batman 3.75" figures, with the Bunker Hill TRU having a full set (Azrael, Bane, Batman, Deadshot, and Mr. Freeze).

No problem! I'll do what I can. I really need 2 Night Vipers if I can ever find them. Oh, and to clarify, the Bunker Hill TRU is the one that got in the wave 4 Joe case. Here is hoping there are tons of wave 4 cases yet to be put out on shelves!

Bedrock Comics on Westheimer has a whole bunch of vintage ARAH vehicles and figures. Mostly small play sets (Outpost Defender, L.A.W., Battle Barge, Devastator, Road Toad, etc.) but they also have a H.A.V.O.C., a Conquest, and a few other things. All are in the original boxes but not all are in the best condition. Most have the Flag Points cut out. Prices are a little on the high side, but comparable to what you would pay on Ebay.
Picked up a sealed Rolling Thunder, a Sky Hawk (sans stickers), a S.L.A.M. and a Bridge Layer. If nothing else, it's worth a look to see all of the classic stuff in one place! |

I apologize in advance but my post doesn't contain any new sighting. I was wondering if any fellow tanker could help me out. Me and the family were considering a trip to South Padre Island just after Easter (Apr 20-25). Would the ocean be too cold to swim in? I can't seem to find an answer online and anytime I call a hotel I get some call center in another state. Thanks for your help

Houston: The TRU on Westheimer has the usual Joe stuff (Tomahawks and Retaliation leftovers but no single carded figures though).
The TRU off I-10 and Bunkerhill has wave 3 of the GI Joe Kre-o blind bag figures. It looks like they got in 2 cases worth. I picked up a set and left at least 1 more set there. They also got in 2 of the new Joe Kre-o build sets. Here is what they got: Here is what I got from there:
