Is there anywhere to check out in B'Ville? I never get off the main roads down there AT ALL. I will hit Alton Gloor WM and the Target down the street, and sometimes Boca Chica WM. I was downtown near UTB once, but looking more for a store with those cheap TF KOs more than anything else. I dont even know what to look for around there.

Got an address on Gotham comics? You gotta help your local vendors get the word out. I'm always looking for new hunting grounds. I'd like to check it out; next time I'm in that area. Also, how's that Ross store, right on the border, in downtown Brownsville? I've been by it, but have never stopped there; I usually hit up the Kmart, Ross, and Marshall's on Pablo Kisel; on my way to tj maxx and target on Morrison. You guys also have a DD's discount store. I haven't been there in awhile. Finding anything there lately?

Hmmmmm...here is my rundown of places I frequent in Browntown:
-Ross (by K-mart): rarely have items, usually only around X-mas. Seen the ROC vehicle packs, Resolute 7-packs and not much else in months past. -Ross (downtown): now this is a place to get stuff. Have gotten POC Quick-Kick, Spirit; Target vehicle packs, most of the POC vehicles (including the black HISS tank) and the Sand Serpent -Walmarts (all) - most carry very little Joe product, the one on Alton Gloor is probably the best (got a Crimson HISS here) -Target - also very slim pickings, but do get items on a rare occasion (got my Skystriker here) -K-Mart - lately has picked up with some of the Retaliation line...got a red ninja and the swamp boat -Dollar Generals - have not found any of the 6 figures (have found them in other towns) That's about it. I've scored more in other locations than in my own home town. Just not enough product ordered to satisfy collectors.

BTW...Target in Harlingen has both of the Retaliation 3-packs for $14.99.

So are there any comics/toy stores in Brownsville? Google only shows Rogue Comics.
I hit two or three comic book/toy stores in McAllen once. I think Myth Adventures had some joes, but that was at least a year ago. I was in there for an hour talking to the owner about collecting toys. There is also Comics Unlimited in Harlingen. They have nothing for joes but the people there seem cool. I have been thinking about doing a meet up for the RGV and this place would be perfect. There is plenty of space.

Only Rogue Comics in Browntown...I used to collect back in the early 90s from a place called Unknown Worlds Comics...most of my collection came from there.
Yeah, McAllen has good ole Myth Adventures and others. He has a lot of the 25th Joes, but haven't gone back to see what he has now. He's been collecting for a while and is pretty knowledgeable. He had a lot of the Devil's Due comics and TPBs. I actually went to Comics Unlimited in Harlingen last week. They had a card gaming tournament going on in the back room. Yeah, it would be cool to host a Joe collectors meet up. Maybe some of the Corpus guys would come down as well. It would be cool to trade stuff or showcase things, just discuss collecting Joes. We could talk to him about ordering product and comics (he doesn't carry the IDW Joe comics, at least I didn't see any). He also had a few Sideshow figures in boxes for display. I could show him a few of my own to get him interested as well.

Sounds interesting. It would be neat to see what the RGV can pull together joewise. Harlingen seems like a good middle ground for everyone.
