Hope everyone had a good long weekend. I haven't actually checked anything out in a while in terms of new sightings, but I picked up this lot from a Craigslist seller in Irving on Sunday. I'm still doing an inventory, but at the very least, I'll be looking to unload a complete Dragonfly, MANTA pieces, and Skystriker missles. I'll post here once I sort it all out in case any of you are looking for some of this stuff.

I was thinking about going after that lot. LMK what you don't need (after all others, they can have dibs).

Well it looks like TF is out in full force. I saw a Soundwave and Bumblebee at the fancy Wal-Mart at Park and Tollway last Wednesday, before they were supposed to come out. I've also seen that Target is Non Carrying Forward all the 25th stuff, which I had mentioned a while back. The only reduction I've noticed is that they dropped the vehicles to $12.99 or something close. This was a few weeks ago, I'm not sure if they're still at that price. I guess they won't be doing any full-out clearancing until closer to when the movie toys come out.

I'm sure they'll be here soon... and in force.
Side note: Got my Alley Viper Monday. Love Him! The vest knife/grenade was not glued on (expected) and the grapple-gun does not hold in place on the backpack (also expected). I will super-glue the knife/grenade piece and I already used a packaging rubber band to hold the grapple-gun-in place. Paint job is 8.5 out of 10 compared to quality on other figures. Mine does not have the black paint on the shield cobra logo. I have a second one coming in the next few days. No need to post pics because there are a ton already on HT in other threads. I will be very interested in comparing these 2 to the official ones from the 7-packs when I get those. Still waiting on any possible Target or Wal-Mart clearance. Keeping my eyes peeled.

My alley Vipers came the same way. Still love them other than the helmets. I'm going to be switching the heads on mine for the ROC Flash heads (Which looks better to me) and using cast of the original Alley viper helmets.
also wanted to jump on here to give a heads up on where i've been and such. As we all have felt.. the economy hurt me as much as it did some of the rest of you. So I have been trying to get into a house and out of the Apt. rent race. Well in that meantime, the clutch went out on my truck (No biggie, easy fix for me) Well so I thought. the transmission in the thing was one solid piece of aluminum. The bell housing and transfer case were one piece. Come to find out that it was a racing transmission on the thing. Made it a little harder and longer to get out (2 days instead of one) well put the thing together and it worked the first day... The very next day, I had no pressure in my clutch. Dead in the water wasn't going anywhere. Towed it to a Transmission shop to let them mess with it. Well a week went by and didn't hear anything. Finally gave them a call and got a run around of they don't know what wrong with it. Finally decided to just go up there. Talked to the owner which after I described the problem called out what was wrong right there. Long story short.. 2 weeks and $1500 later my truck is back up and running. My lease was up this month so I had to pay the month to month charge of another $1000... tack on my other bills which adds another $500-$700. I have been tapped out for awhile. But.. I found a house. I will be slowly moving into it this month and since I have to be out by then.. plan to be fully moved in by the 1st of july. So I still plan to get another meet together, it will just take some time. Also I have been trying to save the money for Joe Con. If any of you are showing up, let me know. Strider.. I still plan to pick that IJ truck from you. Sorry it's taking so long.

Thanks. As for the troubles.. well that's life, all you can do is pick up the pieces and move on. After everything levels out and I am able to recover from some of the financial woes.. I should be back and running at full force again. which means back to army building and getting these meets back on track. LOL
