I talked to a manager at the Wal Mart nearest me and from what he was telling me it sounds like corporate decides whether to carry them or not. Only the largest volume stores carry them. I'm surprised that the Hasbro Reps can't get them into stores. Regardless, it's extremely tough to get any service at all in these stores. They don't want to mess with you. We were trying to exchange a broken item that was received as a gift and they told us they didn't carry the item. I went and got one off the shelf to prove that they did carry the item.
I'm really warming up to the idea of buying online. Empty handed trips to these filthy stores get old real quick. It would be nice if the Collector's Club started selling singles. That would be great for bringing in more members and taking care of current members.

It's like that around me as well. I have 5 wal mart stores within a 20 mile radius. 2 do not carry Joes or MU anymore, one hardly stocks either.. the other two are pretty good about stocking, but I have other collectors in my area to contend with.. so its hit or miss.

Still looking for wave 3 and 4! Any recent Plano/Frisco/Denton sightings? Sci-Fi is FIRST on the hit list.

I've been looking for Tankers in NY but unless they're being cleared out as they come in, I haven't seen anything in North Dallas/Plano/Frisco.

No worries lol you know the frustration that hit me a while back.,..forced me to go online for good...this was the first year I havent harldys et a foot into retail for Joes...outside of just parusing my local walmmart on food runs. Not finding anything is what did it. I miss the excitment of fidning the 25th/ME joes though...there were just so many more of them back then...and the chances were so much better at finding them out of the hundreds of stores thet encompass our dual city. I wish the 30th had a bigger figure presence then it had. ANothe mrovie gets in the way of that. I just hope that Gi Joe 2 is a huge pickup form what we got, espoecially in the Toy vector that sets some new kids expectations so we can carry on for the next few years till the 35th anni...
Speaking of MU is the Gambit/Mr Sinsiter in the comic 2 packs a new gambit or the old and decrpit one from the Wolverine movie line? I can't tell from the pics on BBTS, but I went ahead and pre-ordered that wave anyway (realy hate to get stuck with the captain britain spider man packk that I already have from that assotrment but they dont list em single for that assortment) . Also is there anythign special about the single carded Storm? I was hoping she was gonna be the white version...(let me guess a variant? LOL) Psylocke will be a cool addtion. I already got the Quicksilver and the other Daredevil and Bullseye guys from BBTS, just wanst sure about the newest CP wave with the Gambit and yay another Thanos lol...that kinda blows about the stands again...do the small joes ones work well? I need so many stands its gonna cost tons lol...

Gambit is the crappy one from the wolverine movie line, with a new paint job and I think new jacket and accessories.. but his articulation still sucks. LOL
