You can probably count me in as not wanting the zombie vipers so the ones in my area will be available for grab & trade.
Curious... I haven't read the latest Joe comics run yet (the next commander arc) Are these zombies featured in them?

Doubtful. More like trying to jump on to the Zombie move since they've gone mainstream. When Walking Dead was a sudden hit last year, everybody started looking for ways to cash in with projects for this year. Did y'all see the articles about Ace Hardware? They listed items in-store that can be used for zombie defense and zombie repair. A lot of people focus on the zombie stuff as Halloween comes up now. As usual Hasbro just missed the part that they would have probably done better selling Joe zombie figures if the figures had been sitting on the pegs when Halloween rolled around... ;) Horror fans will buy them, but Joe Casual maybe not so much even with Walking Dead back in February.
At least they have a better chance of moving than Arctic Destro.

Tunnel Rat is my priority at the moment. Then the Cobra Trooper (renegades) and Scarlett. Anyone have the updated Steel Brigade MOC? I need one of those but have struck out so far. Eventually I'll want to get 1 more of each to kitbash with the first ones upper body with the newer ones legs. I'd trade off the leftover (minus some gear). Hey Ragin or Aly... Are you guys casting the TF Duke/Steel Brigade backpack in tan so we can have the proper BP for Airborne? Please say yes!

Drew, I'll keep an eye out for a variant Steel Brigade for you. I've found 3 so far.
It's these damn chrome-face Vipers and updated Cobra Troopers that I can't quit buying. They just look too good to pass up. As far as Zombie figures go, I'd buy a double-tap Woody Harrelson from the Zombieland movie if they ever made that line! That's the only zombie movie I can think of that I watch. It's just too funny. He could even come with twinkles!

I am not a zombie fan...to me dead is dead, you don't reanimate dead that needs to sensleeslly walk around slowly looking for some poor idiot who cant seem get away fast enough...just plain dumb...the only zombie movie I ever really thought was an interesting take was the rage virus peeps from 28 days later...that stuff can be real and i can see that as a more plausible way to present a "zombie"...but after living throught he zombie flicks of the 80's meh its old and tired concept better left where it belongs...in the past... Drew your gonna have a hell of a time fidning a decent Rens Scarlett unless you plan on correcting the head and face...holy god the 2 i saw tongiht were HORRID looking, shes got green irisis to try and make seem like the cartoon, the Qa looks really bad as one of them she was totally corss eyed+plus one droopy lower then the other, and this short very round and pudgy face...it s just as bad as the resolute scarlett head...I am going to need another 25th Scarlett to use her head to rectify this creature when I get my box set of these figures...wow scary looking chick lol...

The vintage line does have the Toxo Zombie. I thought this new Zombie might be an homage to him without connecting too much to the Eco Warriors sub-line. We are getting Airtight soon so the Joes do have an answer to the new threat so-to-speak. He should be able to clean up the "blue goo" that supposedly created the new Zombie. The regular Joes can get their shotguns and take care of the Zombies themselves.
Thanks for the assist GC. Hope to trade with you again soon.

Toxo zombie? What era was that? Was that ecco-warriors? I never used Airtight for anything othr then a rad suit/CBT suit. He dealt with disarming cobra nukes/hazmat situations for me in the 80s and chemical waste fromt he toxo-vipers lol...thats about all he got to use his vacuum gun for. Aside from cleaning out the couches over at BBQs firehouse party flat.

That's my plan. Cast the head arms attachments and lower legs and canister in various clear neon colors. Blue orange green. Can't wait.
