Just when I thought I was out, they had to go and drag me back in!
I'm in the same boat as you Magick. First it was Alternators. Then Indy. Then it was DC Infinite Heroes. All throughout, there's always current and vintage Joes, and Star Wars, depending on what's out. Funds are getting tight now though so I'm going to have to scale back big time. This was my last hurrah on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago: If anyone can help me out with some General parts, let me know! My wants are on my BST. |

Question for you guys. I found and bought a Cable with Baby Hope. I was very excited to finally find one. So I open him up, and his freakin left hand (his robotic hand) won't move. I feel that if i twist it too hard, the little bastard will break and pop off. How do you guys fix this? Would boiling it or freezing it help? I want to fix this because this may be one of the coolest Marvel figures I have ever bought.

Boil a cup of water in the microwave for 2.30mins. Dip the arm in and leave for 45 to 60 seconds to heat it up. Pull the arm off at the shoulder carefully, give it at least 15 to 20 seconds to cool down in your hand a little, start popping back on and slowly move the joints. If a hand is sticking, pop it out and back in. Nothing rough, just careful movements each direction the joints need to go. Let it cool down fully for a few mins, check it. If you still have anything too tight, heat that portion up again and start the process over to get that piece moving.
Works every time for me.

Randomly TF. I do collect other 1/18th stuff from time to time, but most aren't as big as Joe or MU.

Ah.. I see. Only 2 1:18th stuff i own are Joes and MU. Didn't get on the IJ or DC bandwagon..
I did however pick up the few figures from the CA line I wanted.. Only want a Destroyer from the Thor line.. Got War Machine, Hulk Buster, Crimson Dynamo and Mark IV armor from the IM line.. Wanted to get a classic Iron Monger and War Machine, but waited too long to buy them. Also wanted to snag the Titanium Man and Guardsman, but missed those as well.
