Carded 25th Dial Tones are going to be limited to 600 pieces...and they want me to pay $42 for a baggie version...why is the godo stuff always hard to come by this year (like starscream skystriker) or limited to such a degree unless you pay $200 or more youll never see it...I dunno why they just can't go back and card the rest of the damn figures they have not done yet in 25th so can finish off th evintage stuff and call it quits for joe...they just need to do a hall of heros cobra/joe boxed set and make it BBTS only for $500 on 25th anni cards do 20 more characters and boom I would be happy outta 20 of the remaing numouers figs they have left it wouldn't be too bad a grab bag at this point
dragging us on 1 figure ata time limiting them to 600 a piece for the next 50 years is gonna suck...but hey they will make sure Duke and Storm Shadow are made in enough quantities and varations they will peg warm the entire time too! And in the MU Universe..Magick's gonna love this...next 2 waves of MU http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...43&mode=retail available http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...97&mode=retail sold out Last edited by CrimsonGuard101; 03-02-2011 at 02:46 AM.. |

I totally disagree with what you are complaining about. I think that they are giving us exactly what the Collectors want this year. They are releasing things that we have asked for.
And give the Joe Club a break. They are pure greatness. The $42 gets you much more than just a bagged figure. You get the magazine which has seen a drastic improvement with interesting articles and character Bios. Then you also have access to the Club Store. If it weren't for the Club Store, I wouldn't have my one each of SDCC Slaughter. Yes, the exclusives are killer but that is what they are trying to achieve. They want people to go to SDCC and JoeCon. If you can't be happy with the lineup that they showed at ToyFair then you might as well give up because it is pure win in my opinion.

You also have to consider that they are a business and from their standpoint if they put out every figure right away, then the line would die.
By putting out a few figures here and there, they get to pull you along and make sure you stay interested in the product.. As for the limited stuff... it wouldn't me an Exclusive if everyone had them now would it? lol I'm not worried about getting SDCC stuff, I know at least 3 people going that have my back and if they dont succeed, then as Commando put it.. that is the perk to paying the $42 to be a member of the club.. They tend to be more reliable than HTS. Plus they are right here in our town.. So in a way we are kinda lucky.. I just think it's funny that the club is literally down the street from me. 5 min. away. As for thew MU stuff.. I am well aware of the up coming fortune I will be dropping... This is why I try and stick with only one line... I can't afford all of these guys.. LOL Here lately I have been selling off old toys for the new toys.. LOL Still haven't decided if I am willing to sell off my vintage stuff or not.

Meh I am getting tired of it, and all of the stupidity with things like slaughter and what not to excarbated by Starscream Striker. I was just stating my disadain for them to try and force somone like myself they knwo wnats more 25th items as premium unattainble things with out spending 400% extra to get it, TAHT does not keep the line alive its just greed. yeah magick, it must be nice to have 3 friends or more to get yo9u this stuff. How many times did i hlep you and Snakeyes1976 and Snowjob and not once has anyone retruned the favor...not once. That in itself and comments like commando above is whats really killing this for me. This more about hey look what i got thread vs. sightings and and helpful hand of pikcing stuff up for people when they need it...oh well screw it. Your right. I will just pay $42 for dial tone just to prove to them that thier business model is 100% accurate and that all figures need to $50-$100 jsut becuase it needs to always be "exclusive".

I gotta somewhat agree with CG101. Only to the point that if they are gonna put out something cool that everyone wants... MAKE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO GO AROUND! Limited quantities can kiss my ass. I am sure Hasbro loves to sit back and watch as people fight, fuss, feud, and bitch because they didn't make enough. I think they almost do it on purpose. |

Was at Walmart at spring creek and they had their planning sheets up and nothing for Joe's again. Might as well take that store off the list

*Stands on Box*
First off CG.. I have helped you and I have posted when I have seen things in our neighborhood.. the problem is.. there hasn't been much to post on. and I am not into army building anymore.. so I don't buy up everything then post on here that I managed to pick up all of this stuff. I am actually offended that is how you look at things. When I first met you, you were behind and trying to catch up..i thought you were a cool guy and not a flake. I would let you know if i saw anything, but unlike you, i also don't drive all over gods green earth to find it. I look on the way home or while I am out running errands. Do I appreciate your help with the couple of figures you picked up for me.. yes. Have I tried to help you out.. yes. Again.. not a lot of help when nothing is popping up. You have turned into a fanatic when it comes to little plastic men.. you complain when something doesn't hit the shelves on release date... you complain cause they don't release figures you want so you can get out.. You probably buy more figures than anyone else in this thread and usually by the case and still complain.. Yeah, I may know people who go to SDCC, does that mean I will get all of the exclusives I want.. probably not.. but i can deal with that.. If I want it bad enough i can track one down and get it through other means. For a guy who supposedly doesn't help people i have built up quiet a network on this site. I have picked up Target Exclusives for Canadian tankers.. sold and traded at cost several other hard to find figures to members on here. As well as send several figures to a tanker in need for free.. i paid for the shipping and everything. Never did I ask for payment nor look back in regret. Because of all this i have built up a resource that i can call on to try and help out if i need it. I pay for the items and give extra money for their troubles. The one thing, i do not do is point fingers and complain about every little thing that doesn't go right in my world. Do i have a lot of money.. hell no.. i pay $1200 a month in child support.. My $600 a week checks are widdled down to $200 a week after taxes and everything else.. my monthly payments for stuff exceeds the whopping $600 a month i take home.. I have to manage my money with a microscope...but if i want something bad enough, I will save up for it and get it when i can. such as SDCC exclusives.. I am already saving up for it so that i will have more than enough money to buy them either through someone there or online. In the long run.. it's just a toy.. you won't die if you don't get it. Get over it and move on. If this has pissed you or anyone else off, deal with it. we are grown men buying plastic army men, that doesn't mean we have to act like children. *Gets off Box*
