Hey, if anyone sees any Spirits or Quick Kicks still around let me know.
I got excited at the thought of having all of wave 1 already, but I completely forgot about Spirit and Quick Kick! I totally still need them. Thanks. |

How were you doing your skystriker?. I had good results with Tamiya low vis colours when brush painting.

Picked up 2 more hiss tanks with the buy one get 1 half off thing at TRU, we still have no sign of the 2 POC exclusives, too many stupid ROC figures still there, I love the way the one looks they guy did with the Woodlands camo. Convinced me I need to get 2 more, one to do in snow white and one to do Urban grey or all Black havent decided they however look soo much better with paint apps, i ust hate havign to paint vehicles I just don't use spray apint well :( my skytriker repaint failed mosserabley, luckily it was a really yellowed Skystriker body. No POC figures anywhere on this side of town at Walamrt Target nor TRU. After opening up my Firefly and Beachhead I wouldn't mind 2 or three more of both of those got some cool ideas for htier parts with some of my remaining trigate torsos..
Was out to find AT ATs and none of those were around either :( |

What kind of brush were you using? Or better yet any pics of how you preped it up? I get horrid brush streaks all the time when I try to hand paint large items LOL...or I stand to far away or get to close when I use the spray paint, I got large pooling spots on the wings where it ran together when I tried to paint them with the spray paint.

Guys- I've been meaning to do this for a while, but just got it finished. These are pics of my booth for those guys who said "there was no 3 3/4 Joe" at the Great Texas GI Joe Show last month. I also had a storage tub full of Sigma 6 and bagged vintage RAH vehicle parts that I didn't get pics of. There were also two more dealers who had 3 3/4 items, but one from San Antonio was so frustrated by the lack of 3 3/4 customers who actually showed up, the he left Saturday.
To get dealers to start bringing this stuff again, you've got to show up and ask for it. Just show up once or twice, and I promise you'll see more stuff than you can shake a stick at. Support your hobby if it means that much to you! |
