WM should burn when they have large amounts of transformers movie toys ( which they are so cheaply made ) but when you look for gi joe stuff they give you the run around I was at the one on coit on Wensday i asked about a case of figs that was the last thing on the pallet and i was treated like a low life but i would be like that if i wasnt payed a living wage. I like target better because of there clearance and they seem to get the better stuff

Jeez I'm sorry dudes! I thought you guys had seen that thread on Aire's collection. I found it on yojoe.com a few weeks ago and never thought about posting it here. I assumed either everyone had been to her place or had seen it online. Sorry again.
Solid, have you never been over to Aire's place? I wanna go with you (my umteenth trip) when you do! I wanna see the look on your face! LOL Oh, and thanks for the PC! MUCH appreciated! Now I know why I only saw it once on the pegs! My hunts have stalled due to worsening of the Drewski economy. Bills are the same, income is the same, but assistance has dried up. Anyone know a retailer that will hire a 38yr old for weekend work? Snow, is TRU starting the holiday ramp-up? I used to be the "Scan-N-Bag" champion for my store (Altamonte Springs, FL) back in '89! Went to Alyosha's last weekend. Awesome dude with some great stuff! Got an-up close tutorial on how he does his magic. Looks pretty tricky. The concept is easy, but execution is the kicker. Like cooking. Seems easy enough, but I can't cook a decent meal to save my life! Oh, and my son is 6 now (last Sat, thanks for the swag John!). He has told me he wants to "pause" his GIJOE collection right now and concentrate on Star Wars and Transformers (Energon). It doesn't help that he got the BMF AND the AT-TE for his birthday as well as inheriting 90% of my TF:Energon collection (they're toys, they should be played with). Anyone got the entire run of Energon on DVD I can borrow? I only have 2 of the 4-episode discs and Andy is asking to watch the whole thing now. Last-but-not-least... my cell is dead. So if you have that # and have tried to contact me, I can't even get voicemail right now. I'll try to fix that asap. Just PM or e-mail me.

I've taken up the slack as Aire's helper..LOL Plan to make it over there every monday. I'm at Aly's all the time.. dude lives just up the road.. (Unlike Aire. LOL)
Glad you got to see how the process is done Drew. If only everyone who complained about his pricing knew how much went into the actual working of making a cast and the cost of the materials which is a pretty penny. Yes there are cheaper ways to make cast and molds.. which makes the cost of buying cheaper.. But then you get what you pay for. The cheaper stuff usually is hard to deal with when it comes to holding paint or coming out of the molds without flaws. since my other hobby is Warhammer 40K and GW likes to keep hiking their prices. I plan to start casting stuff mainly for personal use, but... if someone needs or wants some of the items I cast.. LOL Besides I run tournaments every Sunday at Lone Star Comics in Hurst. So I have to have the nice custom army. ; ) As for actual sightings.. Since that is what this thread is for... Nothing.. zip... zilch.. nadda. Damn Wal Mart and Target are full of BS.. then there is the lone TRU by me.. 2 figures on all 12 pegs... and you will never guess the majority of those.. Or maybe you can... Baroness, Destro, and Neo Vipers.. Damn Low Volume store.. Grrr.

Drew, not a problem at all. I hope Andy was pleased with that BMF and AT-TE!
I went to the Target right by my office (Montfort/635) on Thursday at lunch time and there were a ton of redshirts coming out of the side of the store. I figured that they were seasonal workers. If you're looking for some extra cash, that might be a good option for you as all the retailers will be looking for seasonal help now. |

Nothing at all. I'm hoping for Sam's to clearance their 2-packs soon so I can finally get a Thunder. I put a Greenshirt pack Firefly on my Ferret and now I wouldn't mind getting that Snake Trax too.

SAM's 2 pack? huh? Please enlighten me.
I stopped by Snow's TRU and the Target next door. Nothing good for Joes. For you Marvelites I actually wanted to kick something in the Comic figure aisle. I walked in broke and saw the new Marvel Legends 2 packs. The classic Iron Man comes with alt head and hands and Maria Hill comes with the Alt Sharon Carter head. The Red Hand ninja comes with some extra stuff and Nick Fury comes with an alt generic Shield Agent head. Then there's the Super Skrull and Kree Warrior set. I thought Stealth Iron Man was coming (variant package?). If anyone gets Iron Man and doesn't want Maria (actually Sharon) PLEASE LMK. I also want Nick and the Super Skrull. At a minimum I'll trade heavily for them.

The Sam's 2 packs are just repacks of the 4 alpha vehicles. They come in Snake Trax/Armadillo and snowmobile thing/Mole Pod and they're $25 a pop.

I haven't even been out this weekend beyond a quick run to Jack in the Box. Finished the first of two Resolute Stinger Drivers/Officers. Hopefully have another MU SHIELD and HYDRA agent coming in the mail in a few days. Otherwise, just playing Halo 3: ODST.
