Found a few of the MOTUC figs at Big Lots in Denton last night! Woot! Problem was, I already had them. (they had Moss Man, Faceless One, Count Marzo and Sy-Klone)
So I bought my son 2 of them for his collection. 1 to open now and 1 to open for his birthday. Stopped by Target (tollway and Eldorado) this AM and confirmed no Joe pegs were set out. BUT there is still a chance they will be stocked this fall since Target does another re-set in a month or 2 (the one where the put up the top shelves for the Christmas shopping season). Here's hoping!

Anyone here collect the Sideshow GI Joes? I really like the CC, Baroness, and Major Bludd that are for sale on their site right now.

I do, they are freaking amazing. I am pretty much getting out of the 3 3/4 and going to them. It can get expensive quickly though

I got very close to pulling the trigger on buying the SS and SE Hot Toys figures today while bored at work, and then came to my senses that I was about to spend $450 on them! =)

no dolls for me, although they could well be the coolest dolls ever made ever. I would love to see them in person at some point, but I'm currently trying to pay off my house and can't get sucked into sideshow or it'll never get done. stupid adulthood.

You buy some pricey Hot Toys/Sideshow 12" figure, toss the body, buy a super articulated seamless body from HK for another $80 or so, and then more detailed weapons just to redress the body to look even more realistic. Totally legit plan. I really miss Tuesday Morning having the Dragon 12" figures. They had a female NYC SWAT figure that was based on Winona Ryder and another which was an official Jackie Chan figure. Damn if someone hadn't opened them and stolen some things. Never found another TM store with them complete.

Sounds about right...
Got my eBay Terror Drome doors in. 6 to slap on the sides and start filling it out. All unbroken, which is awesome news because I was fearing they were hiding something in the auction pics. I read somewhere that Baby Oil applied to the Drome's plastic can help strengthen it up. Anyone heard of this before? I don't care how long it takes, I have nothing but time to get this Drome rebuilt & detailed right.

Any more MOTUC sightings? All I've been able to find in the wild were two Moss Man's. Still need a Megator, Clawful, Grizzlor, and SyKlone.
