I've pretty much been to everything from Lewisville to East Dallas, and found everything but Colton. Anybody into the Kre-O stuff? I've picked it all up, and it's pretty freakin cool.

Everytime I hear this argument I want to send a hammer hat (has a string to pull for hammer action) to the person saying it. If you do not like something, do not buy it. The prices are inflated, period. Discount stores still sell at a mark up. I am not saying we should buy at cost (thats just silly), but anything larger than 2x mark up (from cost) is a little too much. Unless you are willing to pay, of course. But to "save the line", screw that. My love for these dolls is boarderline obsessive, but I am not a zombie or a pawn. Over the last 30+ years I have kept them in biz just fine without paying premium price on everything. COBRA!

Or did you go there? I've been there the past few weekends and they hadn't put it out. No Retaliation figures either.

I'd just like to find a Kre-O box that has more than 3 to 5 bags left.

Yeah it's out, the Kre-figs have been raided, but the sets are still there. Saw a few Retaliation figs and Wave 1 vehicles..

Sorry man, but your wrong. If there is not enough retail support for the line it goes away. You can't argue that because it's happened time and again. Retailers won't stock the items you say your "obsessive" about if they can't sell it at retail. No amount of armchair economics can change those facts. Anything else is just delusion.
They simply won't take the retail risk.

Once retailers realize that collectors are what really drive the market for action figures, then sales when improve. If a collector likes and will buy a figure, a kid sure will.
Cater to collectors, not kids and see what happens especially when it comes to case/wave ratios/distribution. Of course, inventory and ordering at the retail level needs to improve so all waves are found equally (just look at Marvel Universe and the Star Wars Vintage lines).
