Silly rabbit.
The reason you didn't find anything is because TRU's been mailing out 20% coupons. I have one that ends on the 19th and another on the 31st. Which means nothing worth buying won't show up at the stores until after the 31st July 2014.

No Joes, but for those of you who collect Marvel Legends, they had an island pallet display dedicated to Guardians of the Galaxy stuff, including some ML GoG figures. Looks like they had most of the characters except the Raccoon and Groot guy. I left 'em all there.

For hot wheels collectors out there, the Ralph's by my house (on sepulveda near LAX) had an island display of hot wheels for $1 each. There were some cool cars but I don't collect them.

I found the following this weekend at Burban/Empire Target.
Mega Bloks Call of Duty Sniper Team Mega Bloks Halo Spartan Assault Battle Pack Mega Bloks Halo Spartan VI Battle Pack (w/ new orange CIO) The Halo packs are the first sets I've found with the new, more-poseable mini-figures. I love the addition of elbow-swivels and the removable armor. Can't wait to find more sets with the improved figures. |

Found a few Delta Hisses at Tru Cerritos. I left them but snagged the last Cruiser, it rang up at $4.98!

Went hunting in hopes of finding a DC Comics Multiverse Superman(Reeves) and/or Catwoman(Pfeiffer), no luck.
I did come home with these though. I read about the Thunderwave being on clearance but not at $7.00 If the Arashikage Dojo gets to a ridiculous low price I'll get that too. I only bought the Thunderwave for the figures and the Moccasin.

We either have way more collectors in SD than LA or our distribution down here sucks. I think Jinx has a better inventory of Joes in his storage than all of the TRU's here combined. Don't even get me started on Ross/tj maxx/Marshall's....to quote the brother from space balls "we ain't found shit!"

Yes as far a joes go, I believe you do have more collectors, and the reason is clear, San Diego county houses at least 3 bases for 3 different branches of the Armed Forces, you don't think that G.I. Joe had any bearing on some of these young kids joining the military? I've spoken with many joe collectors in my day, and I'll tell you the honest truth, they are either themselves in the military or are directly connected to it in some way.
