As of tomorrow, I'm going to be in various parts of SoCal for 9 days and I was wondering if anyone has seen any of the Retaliation 3-packs at DD's Discounts or Ross Dress For Less stores lately?
We don't have those discount chains here in NYC so I figured I would try my luck at finding the Cobra Invasion 3-pack for $9.99 out there instead. I really want that Firefly figure! Damn Jinx, your storage looks pretty damn nice and neat! Mine is a hot mess with boxes and boxes of all sizes all over the place... Yours a 5x5? |

Those stores are all sucked dry... I never found that 3 pack there, but I did find a few of the wave 1 3 packs though. The only thing I see re-stocked at these stores lately has been the Micro Force figures..

I guess it's not even worth my time to check then Oh well I figured as much. By the way most of my stuff is in storage as welll back home in NYC. It's pretty much packed to the top in boxes and storage bins so I can relate to that pic.

You best split that million with me so I can restore my U.S.S. Flagg in my mom's garage.

Well you can still check them out if you're looking for other stuff. I actually just found a Jinx at Ross yesterday for $4.99. I think this is the only Ross that doesn't have them for $3.99... Oh well.

Ran I to a fellow Joe collector this last Friday at the Victorville TRU, spotted him and his buddy holding 4-6 retaliation figs each. My wife asked if he had any NV, he said no...but then noticed a Hasbro box behind the counter we were checking out at....2 MP Grimlocks. We both bought one....wish I had gotten his Tank name. Oh...plenty if wave 4 at that TRU including AV and Cyber Ninja...would have bought more...but enroute to Vegas...needed money for the strippers!

If you just want one, I can help you out.

Just a warning. I used to keep a lot of my Joes (80s and 25th) at a Public Storage in Granada Hills (Chatsworth and Lindley). I had a lot of East Bloc militaria there, as well. Someone broke into it and cleaned it out sometime in early summer 2010...everything except my university books.
Hope your location is more secure, Jinx. It's secure cameras and someone's on the premises 24/7. Plus, I threaten to burn the place to the ground if my Joes end up missing.
