Nothing special today. Bought two Iron Grenadier SRO at TRU before work today. Four Iron Grenadiers at $4.86 each w/ tax, I'm sures hell aint gonna complain.
What's happened in SoCal, aren't us collectors hunting any more? This thread was the bomb before, now it seems we are on the second page of sightings lately. I find it's easier, less time consuming, a tad bit cheaper even, to order on-line. For Example; I had no interest what so ever in Wave 13 except Blow Torch, so I pre-ordered mine on BBTS, awhile back, knowing he'd be impossible to find. Also I hate people so I don't set foot in stores around the holidays. * also on a side note, Did anyone order those He-Man classic figures from Matty? I still haven't received mine, and they shipped them out on the second. If they're coming from El Segundo to L.A. I'm going to go with, they were either stolen, lost or misdirected. Holidays or not it should not be taking this long, it's bullshit. |

Went to the Valencia Target this afternoon and they completely expanded the Joe section! There were a good 9-12 full pegs worth of figures. They also had a bunch of vehicles and DVD sets and had 4 of the UBP. BTW, figure wise, they had (numbers approximate)......
10 Cobra Flint 5 Pilot Scarlett 1 or 2 Snake Eyes 5-10 Spirit 5 Torch 1-3 Croc Master 5-10 Zartan 5-10 Airborne 1-2 Rock N Roll 1-2 Torpedo The last time I went their (about two weeks ago) they only had maybe 6 pegs and they were full of Bazookas and Destros. Also strange was the fact that the STar Wars section had been downsized from about 25 pegs down to only about 8 pegs. Weird. 6 Scarlet 6 Zartan 6 Spirit 6 Flint Cobra 3 BATS (took 1) 1 Paraviper (took it) Buncha Dukes (both TF and jetpack) 5 bazooka cobra troopers and some others, but these are what I remember from the top of my head. PS they had a firebat. And Darthbrett is right...they totally downsized the star wars pegs and pretty much doubled the joes'. Good times, good times... |

Got them before Tomahawk, finally, the bubbles were ok, the cards were a bit sucky. But at least I got them.
My next question that's plaguing me, is, "When the hell is Target going to permanently clearance those damn planes"? They're not selling at 24.99 i want more of them but not at that price? Each store near me has tons of overstock on these. I guess after the holidays. |

Target in Chino Hills looked like the aftermath of a natural disaster. The pegs and shelves were all light all over the boys toys. I did spot a few Rattlers and Conquests out there. Too bad no one wants one anymore.

UBP at Target Mission Valley and Otay Ranch / Eastlake is selling for $54.99 as of today (December 23) and is still in stock. Joe area (and most of toys in general) is totally laid to waste. At least they're selling better during the holiday season...

Scored a firebat at Target Valencia. Only one I've seen anywhere. No other vehicles there. Lots and Lots of the same figs mentioned above.

Apple Valley Super Target:
Endcap filled with UBP marked down to $42 Firebat wave 10 remnants (Scarlett & Flint) Plus I picked up one of two DC Universe Jason Rausch Firestorm figures. Left the other one there... it was a bit beat up. But they had the entire wave (Aquaman, Harley, etc.) |
