Went on Sunday after skipping out of SDCC in 8+ years, not going back again. Packed elbow-to-elbow on supposedly the lightest day. Not very fun at all, only positive thing to say was 99% of the artists I went to see were nice.

oh youll love this too one of the guys waiting in line with me after waiting all those hours and had a legitimate hasbro ticket gets all the way to the cashier ( who happened to be one of the supes for hasbro toy shop) and tells this guy he wasnt allowed to purchase anything cause he was in the line wed night at preview night!!!! and he wasnt a scalper either just helping friends out! how effen lame and b.s is that!!!... and yeah the FnS scalpers were in full effect on preview night bribing people in line to get as many sky strikers n zaranna,..... i saw one infamously well know couple scalpers to Frank n sons that had at least 10 each of zarannas, skystrikers and pretty much every HTS exclusives!!..GOOD Times!!

I skipped out last year. This year I volunteered for 3 hrs (really 4.5 hrs) a day. Not being sucked into the craziness made it a bit better. The entertainment of seeing all the crazy attendees fighting over free things that they will eventually throw away was a study in human nature. I did manage to accidentally get a dexter action figure signed by the CEO/designer of the toy... that one's going to evopete.
Which 1/2 person was not nice?

So I was in the pre-reg (sail pavilion) volunteering Thr and Fri morning at 7AM. That Hasbro line was already full when I got in at 7AM! There weren't supposed to be any people in that area at 7AM. So you know something is messed up with their security.

I checked out the Hasbro lines at SDCC every day and decided I could probably save myself $400 and actually enjoy the con (which just meant waiting for retarded amounts of time in OTHER places and missing what I wanted >.<) But I did luck out and snag a Sentinel this morning for $58 SHIPPED! So that ws pretty awesome. I kind of figured I'd never actually hold a Skystriker...
the plus side, is one of my favorite parts about the con is cosplay and getting attention, so the most fun I had was the 6 hours in my Predator on Saturday. Only line for that was the line of people waiting to get their picture with me ;) Quote:

Went to the Target on Lake and Colorado in Pasadena today. They got a bunch of the new 30th 12 inch figures, but still 80 Arctic Destro figs.
