It is different than the one sold by JC Pennys online. It has a lot of the same accessories though. The thing is nice and big.

I almost got the Best of '80s set at the Marshalls on University Ave. They had sets 2-4, brand-spanking-new, but I must have just missed it due to the fact that I took my wife's car in to get serviced and waited for over an hour. Apparently my paperwork got covered by other paperwork and the car had sat for the majority of the time. On the upside though, my service was free.

Stopped by Big Lots in Granada Hills yesterday. Looked in the toy section for a while and didn't see anything, then discovered that they have two toy sections, one on the back wall and one on the left wall of the store. In the left wall toy department, they still had several command posts and the bombed building for $30. The bombed building is a lot cooler in person. I've only seen photos of the front, but the back has small rooms and a staircase. Looks like a lot of fun.
The command post is not the same as the JcPenney pack, though. With the JcPenney pack, you get a helicopter and more accessories (like the Marauder bunks) for about $10 more plus shipping. Also, the TRUs in Porter Ranch and Woodland Hills both had multiples of Bench-Press and the Snow Serpent, but nothing else new. They did have their Team Elite stuff at buy one, get one 50% off, through today. |

So today was a chill day and had no special plans but to run some errands. 1st thing to do was pick up lunch then get my oil change. On the way to lunch, stopped off by the marshalls nearby and was surprised to find the best of 80's pack! they do exist! I thought I would never find one in the wild lol
After my oil change, stopped off at wal-mart for some grocery and found 2 para-viper, and a black coat rex sitting on the peg! Can it get any better?! Thinking my luck was over for the day, stopped off at CVS for some water and found a City Strike SE!! Man, why can't hunting for joes be this easy all the time! haha |

The lesser known trifecta: Kmart/Walmart/Target in Hemet. I hit them every two weeks and have decent luck. There is also a Super Target off Clinton Keith in Murrieta that seems overlooked so far. it is nesteld next to the 215.
