Walmart (Porter Ranch) I never get to go here anymore and lucked out big time!
They had all 3 exclusive 2-packs, I picked up a Gung Ho and Monkey Wrench set and left a Shockblast and Gung-Ho set. I haven't bought in soooo long, been doing catch and release runs for the hell of it. It felt.... good.

Nothing on this side of the Valley. Van Nuys TRU and Target have nothing new. Panorama City Wal-Mart re-stocked CC, Zartan, Heavy Duty, Breaker, Scarlett, and the Brown Camo Duke. Still looking for the Doctor.

Don't normally go to Walmart as the Targets are closer. On a whim, I went to the Rancho Cucamonga Walmart, on the historic route 66.
They are in the midst of a renovation, which really jumbled everything around. At first, all I saw was the regular GI Joe Display, and it had the usual wave 1 and 2 stuff that is peg warming everywhere else. I was about to leave, when I decided to continue walking. What I found was a separate shelf [about the size of an end cap], which was filled with just Joe figures. I guess they were from the stock room and the shelf was being used as a place holder. Look through this second shelf. More of the usual suspects, but there were some nice ones such as: Ripcord in Accelerator Suit, Duke in Impact Armor, as well as this one solitary PP Snake Eyes [which I purchased]. The funny part PP Snakes Eyes was very dusty. I don't know if that means the figure had been there for a long time, or, maybe, it's the dust from the store moving things around. Also odd, is that aside from this solitary figure, no other figures from his wave were at the store; a return perhaps. Last edited by laurenluna1977; 02-18-2010 at 05:36 PM.. |

I know exactly what Walmart you're talking about...the one on Foothill? Actually there's two on Foothill I think, but this is the one by Living Spaces and In&Out in that shopping center right? I use to go to that one all the time when I was looking for 25th stuff. Occasionally they will have a little gem in there from time to time. Good score

happy for you, but I'm not sure why this needs its own thread and doesn't belong where it is relevant, in the SoCal Sightings thread.

Sorry about that. I missed the "Sightings Thread" since I'm not into B/S/T so much. |

I use to be in the I.E. but now I'm in the Southbay, I still occasionally make a trip out to R.C. or Ontario so I can get Baker's Burgers lol

I saw the Monkeywrench two pack at both the Glendora and Covina Wal-marts this week.
