I've only ever seen that set once. I had walked into the garden center instead of through the front door, and there it was in a big stack of clearance toys along with Pyramid of Darkness and the Serpentor set. The Best of 80s DVD wasn't on clearance, but I didn't complain.

awesome find Cataclizm!! All the TRU's around here have yet to do a reset, but there are hardly any more RoC figure left. Just the peg warmers as usual.

Guys, the GI Joe sale was awesome if you found a store that would give you the sale price AND the card like the ones I went to. You buy 6 Joes for $30, and they give you a $10 gift card (they were counting the $30 with tax included, so that was cool), then you can buy 2 more Joes with that, so you pay about $30 for 8 figures, you save like $40.

Whole lot of nothing going on at the West S.F. Valley stores.
That Culver City TRU is a really lucky find considering that there's a scalper shop across the street. |

Target Redlands Still majorly clogged with ROC wave 1 and 2. Doubt these pegs will ever clear with the new waves, seeing as how none of them seemed to move with their recent $6.49 sale. *sigh* TRU Redlands Pegs are bare from the recent sale. I think they had 3 reactive armor Scarletts.

That brings up an interesting question based on my "Joe hunts" - are there really people other than us buying these? The same old figures seem to be there over and over again. It's like once us collectors have found them, they're prevalent. Or is that just my imagination?

A Toys R Us employee told me that its still primarily adults buying these. Maybe not quite as overwhelmingly as was the case with 25th/ME, but by and large its still collectors. |

Both La Mesa and Morena TRUs had a couple of Helixes each.
She's becoming common enough that sighting her in SD probably doesn't need a special call-out any more. |

True. I spotted the Helix wave at Wal-mart, Chino Hills this morning. Passed on a second PIT Commando. I'm still not sold on these army builders even though they come with so much cool gear.

Not that many. I've seen very few kids looking at these, and if they do they're also checking out the various knock offs (The Corps!, etc.). The fact that I always see so many of SE and SS indicates that the kids just aren't that into these.
