Traveling to chico for thanksgiving, stopped at the Walmart in Willows and found one CS Snake Eyes. I did not see the battle packs that were posted on another thread with $10 battle packs. I got black coat rex, desert ripcord, desert trooper, charbroil, CS Duke... ca't figure out why Duke comes with a Ninja sword though?
Also saw the New Cobra mantis sub (1x) The Lamprey fig. looked pretty neat. the joe Jet firebat in blue...forgot name already, must be turkey poisoning... I got the Motercycle with airborne/rollbar and beach head. I was not impressed with beach head, he can't sit in the side car... he is pre crotch fix mold... Ok that all I know, TRU is open at midnight, trying to talk GF into going out in the cold ...lol! Happy Thanksgiving to all! |

Wal-Mart (no idea where it is) in Milpitas? The one off 237 and on Ranch... Anyways, it had the comic 2-packs. First I'd seen in the wild. There aren't any good Wal-Marts close to the West Bay Area where I live, between SF and SJ. The MV one sucks, usually.
Of course, I go in the Mountain View store today, and they had the exclusive battle sets. Well, HAD them, I found the last 2 LAWs and bought one, left one. It's funny, the only new ROC things I want right now are impossible to find. City Strike SE and those sets. Anyone spotted them elsewhere? Oh and I picked up a MP Skywarp, they had at least 10 or so at MV. |

Mandingo Rex: What comic 2 packs did you see? I'm looking for a couple. Also, maybe two weeks ago, I saw all four battle station packs at the Walmart in Vacaville.
Sacramento TRU is swimming in Bench Press. Also, they finally got caught up on some older sought-after packs, including both exclusive SRO 3 packs, the new 5 packs and also some Attack on the Pit 5 packs. Also still has a ton of Firefly/Troopers and Crimson Guard 5 packs, regular price. Walmart of I-80 near IKEA in West Sacramento is starting to see newer waves. Saw quite a few Night Adder (all black tattoos), Arctic Threat Storm Shadow, Red Fang Ninja and Rex (black coat). Didn't see any CS SE. Also, a Rite-Aid in Davis had one Desert Assault 7-pack for $20. I'd be willing to pick that up for someone if they need it, just send me a PM. |

This was at the Milpitas Wal-Mart. Tonight, on a trip to fill my girlfriend's prescription, I found a Night Adder, Red Fang Ninja, and Charbroil at the Walgreens in downtown Menlo Park. For $12 each. That was the first time I'd seen them in person. Night Adder's alright, Charbroil is too, but meeehh on RFN. If they'd had City Strike SE, I'd have paid $12. But not those guys... |

There's at least 10 of the Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow Ninja Battles set at WalMart in Mountain View as of today at NOON.
They also had (1) City Strike Duke and (1) Jungle Assault Ripcord. I asked the ladies stocking the toy area and they looked at me funny when I asked if they had any new shipments in the back. They said NO. I doubt it. |

my rule of thumb: don't bother asking. either they don't have it in the back or they don't know squat. my advice, go to locations where you can befriend an associate or team member, and they'll look it up for you. just forget about asking them if they have stuff in the back. like they'll even bother checking.

"No" is their favorite answer because it makes you stop asking questions. Or they send you to the price scanner, like they've done nearly every time I ask a question. So I gave up on that location, I rarely stop if at all. |
