gaithersburg tru continues to restock the 50th line. found fresh pegs full of a restock except for the 2 sets everyone is looking for. really hope someone isn't stashing these, that would be a crappy thing to do as guys like me check often and never find anything and would hate to know it's because others are stashing stuff. they still have pegs for the line there so it's not as bad as other stores i guess. still have not found those 2 sets though, always too late.
i have yet to watch any episode of AoS despite being really interested. just can't seem to find the time. waiting for season 2 for daredevil. really far behind on Gotham as well, at least 6 episodes behind.

Anyone watching AoS? I think so far this season is pretty darned good.
Netflix Daredevil takes home the best comic series of 2015, Fear the Walking Dead best cable mini-series, and Gotham has been about the same as last year with a less epic feel to it. I think Gotham has lost some of the shine of year 1, and has started to venture into some pretty campy territory. the villains are not as bad, the bad guys not as evil, etc. When Detective Harvey Bullock can roll into the Penguin's mansion, drink his wine and threaten him, and the Penguin is the ultimate bad guy and Bullock is the burned out detective, there are issues with the antagonist role. I appreciate it!

Took my daughter to TRU Columbia today... Several Silent Strike sets, and several of the Desert Dual sets, no 2-packs or 3-packs.

There is a great toy show in Delaware this Sunday. The website is ToyShows.org Homepage. It is only Sunday. Saturday is a toy train show. Great place to get vintage to modern toys for cash. 170 plus tables. It's about an hour and forty minute drive from Annapolis. It's a little before the Delaware Memorial bridge. But it's worthwhile. All cash , no credit from my experience. I've been going for the last several years. It's twice a year. Any questions on what to expect? Post or PM me. Worthwhile for getting Joes and other toys on the cheap. And a Hooters next door. I can't go this time but maybe next time we could get some guys for a road trip. |

I can vouch that the toyshow is pretty great. I should go, given that it's 5 minutes from my house, but right now I don't have the $$ or the space to go adding any new vintage vehicles or new lines to my collection. But you will almost CERTAINLY find something to buy there.

Yesterday was my birthday and I went to TRU Columbia on a whim. Low and behold, I saw all the two packs just lying on top of the Dr. Who merchandise. I picked up the only Marine Devastation pack there and used my $5 rewards certificate bringing it to $10.59 with tax.
Hopefully it will get easier as the year progresses. But I really hope we get a decent assortment of new figures and vehicles next year. If the only way we'll get classic updates to characters we care about is by paying $40 a figure through the GI Joe Subscription service its really unfair to everyone.

As of 12:20 today the Annapolis Toys R Us has restocked 2 and 3 packs. There is still a Gung-ho pack hanging on the pegs. They cleared some shelf space to the left of those figures for the 3 packs, sneak attack and vanishing act still available. No rock rampage

Ollie's Outlet stores have the GI Joe Kre-o sets: Ollie'''s Bargain Outlet Current Circular - Nov 12 to Nov 23
The one off Rolling Rd and 26 (Liberty Rd) had a bunch of the Dragonflys, a few Battle Platform (I bought one, at least 2 were left), and a few Cobra Armored Assaults. I did not see any Check Point Alphas or Ninja Temples, though they had a spot for one. I was confused by the pricing....the battle platform has far more pieces and figures than the Dragonfly, yet was almost half the price? My brother stopped at the one in Jessup, and said the prices were flipped, and got the Dragonfly for $6.99. He reported that he thinks they had all the sets (at least one of each, anyway), as of Friday. Also, TRU online has the Terror Drome for $30 (pointed out to me by my brother.) KRE-O G.I. Joe Terror Drome Set (A8604) - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us They also have a figure set for $2 |
