Additionally, there is no more room dedicated towards 50th Anniversary 2 and 3 packs at this location. I believe its a done deal for this line....

Reminder that this Friday is the MD Joe Meetup at the Second Chance Saloon at 7pm. Address is below. Hope you can make it. Bring something to show, trade or sell. Probably best to leave trade and sell items locked safely in car and bring in pictures on your phone. Your call on that. If we get 5 or more (not including me), I'll have a prize drawing for a Marine Devestation two pack. Simply names in a hat kinda thing. Hope we get a turn out. I believe the Columbia Toys R Us is near by so you can make the most of your trip.

How was it? Did more than 5 people show up? I hoped to go, but I have a sinus infection, and it started raining quite heavily.
Not directly related, but has anyone seen the Rock Rampage set in MD? I've seen Vanishing Act and Sneak Attack, but none of the other two 3-pack sets. Quote:

I'm confident that is it for the figures in retail. Maybe it was just a limited run but nowhere in MD has a good stock of these in-store. Thinking about hitting up TRU Times Square next month to see if they have something in stock.

I haven't seen any of the figure sets from the latest 50th Anniversary assortment over the last month and a half. The spaces that were dedicated to the 2 and 3 packs are now covered with merchandise from other collectibles toylines. Even the price tag markers have been replaced.

i've been to at least 3 tru in the area and no shortage of vehicles for sure and only a couple of the packs ever remain for more than a week. i never made it to a store in time to get the marine set. being short packed, it's nearly impossible to get these at retail. i've seen every store i've been to restock frequently, just lots of collectors in the area so you just have to get lucky to find one of everything.

I'm glad that I'll save money by Hasbro's lack of enthusiasm in the brand. They've shown us it's a lower priority than Star Wars, Transformers, NERF and Marvel for the last couple years, especially since the overproduction of figures and vehicles for the first motion picture film in 2009 which damaged their credibility to convince the big three to carry the full assortment of the follow-on waves. I just hope that with next year being a lull with no new 'Bayerized' Transformers film and the Star Wars: The Force Awakens fiasco dying down that we can just get a decent 2 waves of somewhat new stuff; I'd be really happy with the unreleased stock primarily from the 2012-2013 concept vault or/and a mix with re-painted figures only available through SDCC and FSS offerings. Sorry, this is definitely a rant, but just don't get why the the most recent theory (post Pursuit of Cobra: 2010 - now) is that G.I. Joe doesn't perform well at retail, when honestly its never available in good quantities in this area unless its at wholesale/bargain discounters (ROSS, Five Below, Marshall's, TJMaxx).
