The Columbia TRU is one of the worst stores for inventory accuracy; for years they were showing wayyyyyy off on MU figs in their inventory vs. actual; it seems like every inventory failed to pick up on that; they were 12-24 SKU's over what was actually in stock at any given time. Since they had a case of Danger at the Docks somehow not on shelves until 2 weeks ago doesn't bode well for them. :( The year they did the move from the old store in the Target lot to the new store in the REI lot, their inventory got mad messed up, and never really got resolved. Towson TRU has been the best for inventory; they are usually spot-on, and very little activity in the area.

Great! Second Chance Saloon sounds akin to the 'Cobra Cafe'. Better not bring our weapons. Hopefully we don't have to wait around and pray for urban renewal.
G.I. Joe: The Revenge of Cobra - Cobra Cafe - YouTube Baltimore ComicCon is coming up soon, too.. Anyone planning on doing the 'con this year? I am thinking of doing Friday, to avoid the long weekend lines. Did anyone go to a Friday in years past, and if so, are all of the booths open in the main hall ?

I will be at Baltimore Con; I go every year. Last year was the first time they did a Friday (it was always a two-day show prior to that). Everything in the hall was open but as I recall a few guests were Sat-Sun only.

the line is always too long to get in, and when you have to wait outside it is always no fun. Fogger, you going in costume this year?

Not likely on the costume thing. I don't really do cosplay, although I have nothing against it. Quote:
Any one interested in a MD Joe meetup to talk Joe, show stuff, sell and trade? Post what dates and times work (or don't work) for you. We are leaning towards a Friday or Saturday evening in Columbia in the near future. Just trying to get feedback so anyone who is interested might be able to make it. You can also PM me or JoeMama if you prefer. Thanks.

I am in for a meet-up; most Fridays in the month of September work for me, after labor day.

9:00 AM today:
TRU Columbia, MD store has a section for Joe product on the back wall on the right of the store in between the WWE and Basketball collectible figures. No 2 or 3 packs, just about five Dessert Duel Packs which are severely overpriced ($49.99).
