nothing worth mentioning other than kre-o was on sale. i bought all the unwanted wave 2 and 3 packs from the clinton store just to clear the shelves. no 50th stuff found.
the classic movie turtle figures are in tru stores. i already have the classic figures so skipping these. i bought the LARP turtles off amazon for less than retail thanks to GC, Prime and wife shopping finesse. still haven't seen those in stores. no new TF MP figures either. i saw MP grimlock only twice. even the YOH MP prime is all gone.

No 50th in Owings Mills. Still a bunch of wave 2 Retaliation though. Not on sale, which is crazy with the 50th coming.

TRU and Target in Annapolis have the Star Wars 6" Black Series Deluxe sets. No sign of the 50th Joes yet

Toys R Us in White Marsh has the 2-packs for $14.99 each. There were 6 left, after I picked up one of each.
Also, they had the Jubilee BAF wave in, but only Wolverine and Cyclops are left (picked up Stryfe for myself).

I've been a lurker for years, but I finally joined, to report that the TRU in Towson had 2 of the Heated Battle sets (HEAT Viper & Blowtorch), and 2 of the Night Marksmen (Night Viper & Low Light), for $14.99, but I bought one of each, so as of 5pm today, they had one of each left. The Marshall's in the same shopping center has two Retaliation HISS tanks for $12 each. The TRU had one for $4.99, but I got that about two weeks ago, and customized it. (I may post pics in the custom forum, but pm me if you're interested.)

I guess you got the Low Light that looked rather sad, IMO lol. The Blowtorch I got had some sloppy paint job on his hair, vest, and right hand, so I swapped those parts out with my 30th Anniversary Blowtorch (They're basically identical, except the 50th has a gold star, and the logo on his stand is painted gold.) So now I'll have Blowtorch parts to add to my custom fodder, as I don't need two identical Blowtorchs.
I found the way the accessories were laid out in the Night Marksmen kind of confusing. There was a small pistol near Low Light, which I put in the Night Viper's webbing holster. General Joe mentioned it was odd that he had an empty holster in his review of the figure, but he doesn't have a review of Lowlight yet. I also found Low Light's bipod at the feet of Night Viper. I assume this Low Light is the same as the earlier version of him (I have the Mauraders version, but not the 30th version), but it took me awhile to figure out the cylinder thing was a silencer. I also found it odd that the scope can mount to his left thigh, yet it has space in his rifle bag, but the rifle bag has no space for the silencer or the bipod. |
