you may notice gaithersburg TRU has wave 2 kreon's showing as in stock. i did not get any offers for trade so i had to return them. it was get what i need via trade or get the money back on my card. sorry for anyone who offered to purchase them but don't need a paypal balance. it was hard enough explaining an order for 40 kreon's.
i was shocked to see the 24" metroplex! if i was a total TF nut that would have been bought for sure. it just looked impressive. they also had some other nice looking TF stuff including a set with grimlock. still a couple acid storms on the shelf as well but that's no surprise for a green seeker. nothing new for joes. still sold out of the disney planes characters as are most places. actually found bravo but not ned. still haven't seen the target planes 4 packs either. they did still have a good number of the kreo ghost striker sets. i'l l wait for the ninja dojo set and pick up both on another sale week. not worried about those disappearing.

My wife scored me a complete set of GI Joe Kreo wave 2 single packs from the TRU in Hagerstown. Awesome set!!!!! Can't wait for Destro and the Baroness and the Ninja Temple in October.

Baltimore Comic Con has the latest 3.5 Retaliation Wave.
Too bad they're $20.00 each.....

I was looking for more modern/30th Anniversary/PoC but the majority of what I saw was vintage and club exclusives. They had the Joe Con Lady Jaye for $150.00, Iceberg for $100 and others for a pretty hefty price each. I feel it was a seller friendly convention because some of the booths were price gauging on items that were near impossible to find in the wild. Anyway, I'm thinking about going bacl tomorrow to grab up some more loose ToyBiz Marvel Legends figures 2002-2005 for $10-$30 each.

I mean there was some random 25th vehicles there....mostly the Target exclusives and plenty of SHARCS...for around 30 bucks.
I saw the Target Python Conquest for 30 bucks.....I almost snagged it but I decided to pass.....the same guy had it at WizardWorld Philly in June too..... The Joe/Transformers SDCC 2013 set was running mid to high 200's...saw it for $215 and $250 at 2 different booths..... I grabbed some of the Loyal Subjects Joes.....which have finally started to drop a little in price, got a couple for 10 bucks a piece. I also got some prints from Robert Atkins......he had a bunch of Joe prints from his IDW work..... |

well it seems like ebay is the best place for joes nowadays, which is a shame. even at the cons like the njcc, which i think is primarily focused on joes, there wasn't that great a selection of vintage. i mean i guess it was ok, kokomo was there with a bunch of stuff but alot of it was pretty expensive and there were a few other dealers there who had some decent stuff but not huge selections. if it was any more than an hour and a half away it wouldn't really be worth it for me to go. the joecon in indy was great, but it cost me 3,500 for airfare and hotel to go, which if i just spent that money on ebay instead i'd have some incredible stuff, so unless that's driving distance i doubt i'll be attending that again. i'm glad i went though, it was a fund experience and i met some great people. does anyone ever have any get togethers here in maryland? that would be sweet just to buy, sell, trade, and talk joes
