Found MU 15 (Ast. Wolverine, Iceman, Ult Magneto, Absorbing Man & Iron Man) at a Walmart today. Had easily 5 cases of them, on different aisles and mid-way displays. All regular Absorbing Mans.
Grabbed an Iceman and Wolverine, left easily 10 of everyone. Had them price match to the $6.99 Target sale too... Couldn't pull the trigger on him without it being the variant...I feel like I could repaint the SW one if I wanted skin tone. I could probably justify Magneto if I really wanted him, but not a fan of the ultimate design, and the gray wash on his face is horrible.

I'm thinking we're not going to see the Low-Light wave at Ross.. Think that wave was just low production.
Do think we'll see a few more POC Vamp / Black Hiss waves hit maybe... Seeing a steady push of the cancelled ROC Wave 3 Alphas, still. That was a pretty solid wave. That IM2 freak showing came and went, one and done. Haven't seen it again since, and I've been checking, want that Mandarin! New TJ Maxx is actually pretty darn solid for house stuff, clothes, fluffy man slippers (they are comfy, and it's getting cold out), and other stuff. Solid place. Plus I don't have to put up w/ that craphole Ross with the 45 minute check-out line that moves at the speed of zombie slow. |

Anyone help me out and tell me what's up with the Yellow Hydra trooper from the Cap America series? Is that a variant, or just common as hell? Same figure, he's just got yellow web gear.

Found the Future Foundation and Guardian of the Galaxies team packs at Walmart this morning. Left the FF one, grabbed one of two GotG sets. |

Thanks Mech. I swung by there after work and picked up Iceman. I like him. it's good to see good iceman figure. i remember the one that toybiz made with the armor. that one is still one of my favorite icemans. only if they redid that as a MU figure. and an Age of Apocalypse line would be pretty cool too.
Also, saw a full renegades wave at Target and TRU. There's been so many lately. |
