i did happen to find a hot wheels treasure hunt at family dollar. are they worth anything? i hear them talked about so much i bought it but it's not like i care about it really.

No sign of the Stalker, Flint, BATs or Eels, though. Ollies in Jessup has an abundance of the wave 12 cases too (Tripwire, CC, Cobra Trooper, Tiger Force Duke, etc).

Kmart in SS had all the new DCUC figz from wave 13 and a DCUC Shark still there. They had nothing cool other than that.

When I went on Friday night, they had about a dozen each of CC, Resolute CC, Ripper, Torch, Ninja Viper, Tiger Force Duke, Tripwire, Pilot Scarlett, Python Patrol Crimson Guard and Firefly, and 6-8 of Resolute Duke and Cobra Diver.
No sign of the Stalker, Flint, BATs or Eels, though. Ollies in Jessup has an abundance of the wave 12 cases too (Tripwire, CC, Cobra Trooper, Tiger Force Duke, etc). If any one needs $20 Wave 2 Alpha vehicles they have a abundance of them on Greenmount RD. Kmart.

I did the same thing once...I'm not a big diecast collector but knew people were wacko over those treasure hunt things and paid crazy money for them. I found one at target a few years ago....listed it on ebay for $4.99 and waited to see what happened...it sold for $4.99. Listing fees, final value fees and shipping made thew whole thing a total waste of time. Some of the treasure hunts skyrocket in value but I think it takes a couple years to get to that point.
