I have a big ignore list and I don't comment in a lot of threads anymore, for reasons much the same as this.

Nope. All of us are sick and tired of seeing the same ol' stuff on the shelf the second anything new hits you'll know about it

I can't wait to get my Resolute/City Strike Snake Eyes. After that I'm cool till next year....
I would order from HTS but only if I'm going to get a few figures at a flat shipping rate of $4.99. I can see getting more resolute troopers and a night adder some time in the near future... |

Hi Fellas,
I don't know if this is a sign of things to come, but target has the red clearance stickers on the kid's SS and SE swords. I seen this at the Middle River Target this morning. And of coure..still no wave 4. I remember Mech Viper seeing Wave 4 a few weeks ago at the GB TRU |

I went to Walmart (off 97) this afternoon and literally wanted to pull my hair out. I had one of those "why the hell am I doing this?" moments. I'm so sick and tired of hunting for things I don't really care about. Not to mention the outrageous overpriced cheaply made crap figures that is making me poor. I'm addicted to plastic and for the life of me can't figure out why. It's as if it's a bad drug that I can't kick.
My true love is the vintage stuff and the toys I grew up with (ARAH, Kenner Star Wars, Super Powers and Secret Wars)....I don't need DCUC. I don't need Marvel Legends and I certainly don't need ROC figures. Look for a BIG unloading of my collection soon. Thanks rant over. I know this isn't the place for it. I just needed to vent.

yes, i do the same. whats the point to prove someone who wont listen wrong? i say save your energy for more important issues. haters are just a waste of my time. i dont care what they say. i dont respond to them. then they moved on to the next person who responds to them. its funny how predictable that is.

my expendable income for joes has all but disappeared with the increase in my premium for health insurance policy by 25% and other factors. despite the charged political drivel on health insurance, me and my family are one of the ones being priced out of coverage. my premiums have increased by 14-20% every year for the last 4 years.
that rant aside, i just don't have the money to buy what strikes my fancy anymore. i have to be selective and thankfully, ROC line has made that very easy for me. i'm not even picking up the 25th/me repaints like deep six and target exclusive eel. i saw the 2 pack walmart exclusives yesterday and i was not impressed. i still want monkey wrench but i'm not buying the 2 pack just to get him. i'll pick him up loose from another tanker.

I'm kind of looking at the ROC figures now the same way I viewed the neon figures in the 90's. They may be Joe in name but that's about it. I didn't go overboard buying ROC figures so for that I can be thankful at least. When time permits I'll probably put up a huge sell/trade thread when I sit down and weed the stuff out I don't want. But as a heads up I have a pretty big collection of Marvel Legends/DC Classics that I'd trade for vintage Super Powers/Secret Wars or 90's Spider-Man Animated figures. I'm not looking to sell my stuff (yet) but if anybody has vintage figures they want to unload PM me.
