I'm out of the loop...who is in the new 3 packs? I'm guessing some sort of repaint.

Yup - Destro, an Elite Viper and (I think) an Eel in the Cobra one, and Sgt Stone (repaint), Grunt (a repaint of the Zartan MP figure) and Speed Metal (accelerator suit with Serpentor's head) in the Joe one.

Ha ha! That is what I keep telling myself too about a lot of this stuff.
No need to get it right away, wait for it to fizzle on the shelves and find it at a re-sell store later.

Don't forget to hit those Rite Aid stores....
For the record: Rite Aid Arnold (Bay Dale) (0)...(Crimson Viper $10.99) Rite Aid Annapolis (Parole) (0)....(DID have the Star Wars exclusives) Rite Aid Edgewater (0).... (Rip Cord and Duke $11.49) Rite Aid Annapolis (Ridgely Ave) (0)...(Pit Commando and Viper Commando $11.49) Rite Aid Severna Park (0)...(Viper Commando and Shipwreck $11.49) That's 5 Rite Aid's in less then 24 hrs and I found nothing. Unless reports start coming in that they have hit Maryland I'm done.

Rite Aid? Really? Never go there since they're always more expensive than Wal-Mart...
I know of some unexpecting places to pick up Joes. If you periodically want FREE Joes go to Kohl's and become part of their e-mail group or open an account. I have picked up three RoC action figures for free simply because of the $10 coupons they give me through e-mail. FYE will be carrying the Cobra Island 7 packs sometime in the future and hopefully both sets will hit discount retailers for cheap. Borders, CVS, WalGreens, Costco and BJs also have Joes but the best place for discounted 25th stuff (HoH line, other exclusives) here in MD is TJMaxxx or Ross. I picked up HoH Flint for $6.99 at TJMaxx last month even though that line was supposely an internet exclusive just like those extreme conditions sets. Overseas the Doc figures are showing up in retailers so Hasbro obviously holds true to online exclusiveness for a short while then dish out the backstock to stores. Marshalls is always a mess, they had all five DVD packs but they were being crushed in for certain figures.... Last edited by blackman2005; 09-01-2009 at 07:40 PM.. |

Not so far unless you want to pick up overpriced ROC figures.

Found the Wal-Mart 2 packs at the North East Wal-Mart in Cecil County MD on 272. Had 3 of each in on of those blue Wal-Mart boxes, set on a middle-of-the-aisle-RoC display.
