it's interested to see the stark differences in targets within the same city/town. silver spring/cherry hill targets were very different in my last seach just as germantown/gaithersburg are.

cherry hill target was the only target between frederick and silver spring that had the new jets. not sure how that happens but it does.

checking the dcpi will tell you only half the story. more often than not, i've found they still have old jets sitting in the back because they are not selling quickly enough.

i've called a fair number of targets and nearly every one of them had difficulty understanding multiple items came in the case, each were different and to top it off, two versions of each are currently available. i would not expect anyone to care, understand over the phone nor really be honest in general.

as of this morning, germantown target was overstocked with wave 11 and no, no eels. they actually had the new 5 packs but still no new jets and no ghost hawk or sting raider.

gaithersburg target had wave 11 left overs and nothing else new.

germantown walmart has signs up for a reset so lets hope they actually get something new for the first time in months.

so far i'm down to 1 eel, 1 cobra diver and 1 python patrol cg to finish out my displays until the new 7 packs come out. as nice as the eel is, the bat still is one of my favorite so far. i dare say the snow serpent is still better than the eel. my least favorite cobra soldier so far is the paraviper. i couldn't get rid of them so they ended up in my display.

arc2b, why hate on the Para-Viper? lol, I think I know why though...
They seem pointless at this time since there isn't any carrier jets for cobra air troops. I have 8 para-vipers with nothing to put them in so its pointless to troop build them...

I still haven't seen the Best of the 80's DVD set since January sometime and I'm sure they won't come back out in retail. I've only seen the 3 Eels that I copped at Targets around Towson and Columbia. I'm really waiting on the movie vehicles and the 7 packs due out sometime this year...

well, for a couple reasons but mostly just because of the colors used. some don't like python patrol or tiger force, i don't like neon colors over a purple jump suit. it's not a really kid friendly figure either. too much stuff on it. i don't recall my kids every using them in thier battles.

Its better to look for Joes Fri -Sat at your local Target or TRU. Thats the only time I have had luck. Zartan and Cobra Eels are rare finds, good luck Shawninbmore. Also, the Target in WHite-Marsh,Cockeysville, Reisterstown Rd. near 695 and the other near Owings Mills are the best places for new stock in your area. Don't waste your time looking in Wal-Marts, Kohl's or TRU.

germantown target as of wednesday had plenty of zartans. they must have gotten 6-8 cases of wave 11 in the last 2 weeks. i already have my zartan with scooty puff jr and so does my son, got my fill.

all i really need are 1 cobra diver, 1 eel and 1 pp cg?

i'm debating getting 5 cobra flints just to have short sleeve cobra troopers. these thing are the new peg warmers.

i still have 3 bats if anyone still needs them.
