Target in westbury had a wave 9 torpedo and wild bill, and about 8 vipers, nothing else, must have had a shipment earlier in the day. They also dont have the exclusive vehicles in stock yet, but it is in the computer, so ill keep checking that out. Toys r us didnt have anything new, just a bunch of dvd packs and the old exclusives. Westbury walmart, the hell hole toy area that it is, was under some MAJOR relocation, im talkin the clearence areas were jam packed with crap and like, 2 aisles were bare empty. Joes and true hero and elite force type crap was moved to opposite side next to transformers, dbz figures replaced them in their old location. Hopefully that walmart has some kind of new management for the toy area

TRU in Poughkeepsie had the new comic packs. I got them all and there was one left, the one with Tripwire. Plus there are a whole bunch of DVD packs as well as a Bazooka and Torpedo.
Then at Target I found one Snow Serpent *finally* but not much else. They too have one Tripwire comic pack and the DVD packs. |

If anyone still wants a complete set of Wave 9 just pick it up from Entertainment Earth already. Its $55.99 thats $6.99 a figure no tax is charged.Shipping is about $8-$9 that would be the tax and gas money you spent. Some people spend more money on gas searching everyday to find nothing which is ridiculous. So its a no brainer.

Actually got a Snow Serpent from the Target in Medford. They had the entire wave 9 except the Bats. I only got the Serpent though as I still am waiting for my wave 9 from BBTS with major Bludd in the case.

Joe - Action Figures at Entertainment Earth I would like to order & pre-order stuff from the web but it sounds like people wait forever to get their stuff. I think I would really hate to pre-order something and then have it sitting in stores why I wait for my order to come. I guess it comes down to if I am patient enough to wait it out. With all the hunting and no finding I am getting there. Although the last couple of weeks has been pretty good hunting. |

preordering thru the web isnt all bad, 1 alot of the time there are internet exclusive cases (usually have duplicate troops) which can be a plus, in addition, sometimes you will end up getting the order at around the time the stuff begins to arrive on the west coast and so u get it quicker, which is a plus. finally, i aint seen a bat or snow serpent in... ever... on the pegs, so unless you have perfect timing or go 40 times a week (like i used to) u may not see certain figures.
but heres the best part about ordering online, u can cancel ur orders at bigbadtoystore.com REALLY easily, and thru an email for entertainment earth and toywiz. SOOOOO honestly, i order prety much everything online, then if i find it in the stores i just cancel the online order, that simple. Worst case senario is u get the stuff in stores the same day an order arrived and u get double charged... just go return the figures with ur receipt for a refund on line you never get charged for preorders until its in stock |

I do everything Jackstatic said.I pre-order everything online as a backup especially the November releases will be difficult to find during holiday shopping season.I have actually gotten by last cases just around or before retail release Wave 8 and 9 from E.E. and I love the double figure exclusives like my last case had 2 BATS and 2 Serpents, plus I paid less I locked in the 49.99 a case price before all the prices went up so I paid cheaper than retail price by about $13.Also the link I gave with Wave 9 was not a pre-order its in Stock, which means you get in 5 days.I'm not a big fan of this "hunting" I'm a big fan of getting my figures. There is no difference in to the surprise of finding new toys in my mail then new toys at the store.I actually like the comfort.Well enough blabbing. On to the findings:
Mission Accomplished-Got Black Head Destro from Middletown WM and the guy accidentally pressed a tax exempt button so I didn't pay tax lol.Left behind Nemisis/Falcon and C.C./Tripwire They also got in a ton of new Star Wars for those who collect it.The 501st Exclusives. They got in the new Marvel Legends 2-packs and a bunch of Hulk Legends 1 She-Hulk with Fing Fang Fooms head.SOme new Hulk movie figs with the Hulkbuster squads included with Hulk and Abmonation. |
