but theres only so much customization you can do with JVs...as for Zaranna, it was a new body AND a new head mold... If SHE came with the DOOM CYCLE, it wouldve sold just as good, if not faster... Marvel sold a MARY JANE PARKER FIG. with a little rat dog accessory.. and I saw it ONCE.
I don't think Hasbro is selling toys / figures with customizers in mind. Zarana might have a new body and face... but honestly ... I didn't think they were all that. It isn't like it is a semi-generic body that could be used for other known female characters. Then again, I am not a customizer so ... As for Mary Jane ... I think it is just that the MU figures sell pretty well to begin with ...and it was such a generic figure that you could literally make her into almost any female character you wanted. I mean look at her. http://graphicpolicy.files.wordpress...ane-watson.jpg And her head mold stinks too! |

I didn't score any of the HTS exclusives either. I did have all 3 in my cart though like so many others and got none.
On a hunting note, I stopped in to the Tuesday Morning on Rt7 in Schenectady and picked up a MARS Trooper 3 pack for $8. They have one more set, a few ROC figs but no alpha vehicles. |

For you TF fans, I forgot to mention the other day that Boscovs in Colinie Center had a TF Voyager Class Sentinel Prime. I haven't seen that anywhere before.

I would have to agree. Lately it seems like Joe-Hunting is turning up sqadouche.
1a.You know what... I think that's a good idea. They could have put her w/ the Doom Cycle as a second figure (like they did with the water moccasin and those prob would have flown off the shelves. As it is, I didn't seem many to begin with but that is a different story. --------------------------------------------------- 1b.Im STILL seeing them at Toys r us here and there...but Yeah, as a second fig it woulda worked... ---------------------------- 2a.I don't think Hasbro is selling toys / figures with customizers in mind. So in the thinking that the SDCC Starscream sets are just going to keep getting pricier and pricier I bit the bullet tonight and bought one on ebay. Still cheaper than flying to SDCC and buying one, and since I don't fly, it would have been drive, so still cheaper. Also have an offer out on another one so we'll see I might be having two, instead of one.
