Also, what versions of the Destroyer have you found? And do you happen to know what their differences are? There's two: Series 2: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...98&mode=retail Series 4: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...07&mode=retail

I found and bought a POC wave 5 Cobra Commander and Blowtorch today. Blowtorch had nice paint and CC was decent enough that I bought him.
I also saw another Blowtorch, a Hawk, and 2 Cobra Troopers but I passed on them because the paint apps were incredibly bad. The Troopers eyes were all over the place and their black bandanas were terrible. Also, I saw a few AIM soldiers from Marvel Universe, but I don't collect that line.

Have you ever thought about buying model paint or whatever and touching up figures / TFs? From your posts you seem very particular about your paints, not that I love me sloppy ones, but it's hard enough finding some of these things at all...never mind with perfect paint apps. I know, Hasbro should do it correctly to begin with, but that's not the reality of the situation.

The only figures I just buy without much care of the paint are clone/stormtroopers since I usually touch up the black on their helmets with a very fine Pigma Micron 0.005 point pen (it's acid free, waterproof, and fade proof). That thing works wonders. I'm only picky with what I buy because from 2005-2007, many of the toys I bought ended up being defective/broken right out of the package (mostly Transformers). It happened so much that I became more cautious and looked over things carefully before I decided to buy them. I hate having to return stuff, so I've made it a point to try my best and avoid that. Plus, I'm the type of person who only buys a toy once and only once (no army building), so I try to pick the best one I come across and be done with it. When it comes to Joes, I've seen better. So I'll be patient and find ones I'm happy with. It's worked for me so far and I have no complaints on my buying practices.

So does anyone know when the Walmart exclusive 6 inch captain america and thor figures will be hitting retail? They look really sweet from the comic con pics. Also looking forward to the return of marvel legends.
On a Joe note, some ebay virgin has bid me up to $167 on the SDCC starscream sky striker..what an a'hole lol. there are other auctions on there cheaper before he bid me up.. |

They should have anticipated that the SDCC Skystriker would sell well.
I just don't understand why they don't expand the production run if they known they will sell like hotcakes.

because the point of SDCC stuff is to be limited, and IF any are left over, they get put online. I want the stuff too, but if it was easy to get, no one would want it. Part of the hype is because they are hard to get.
